𝐀𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐡'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯 | 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝐬𝐭
I looked into the mirror before slipping my feet into my white Chanel slides, they were white to match my dress. Since myself and Jayce were the parents we would be the only ones wearing white.
Today was my baby shower/ gender reveal, and I was excited. The theme was neutral colours, as much as I like pink I wanted something a little different. But I was still very much sure I was having girls, I got my nails done this week and got a pink set just in case.
I'd been feeling better these past few weeks. Brianna and Salice had been helping me with the last few things in the house. Jayce has been helping where he could but he'd been busy starting up his business.
There was a light knock on my bedroom door, "Boo you ready?" Brianna asked.
"Yeah come in." I said, the door opened and she walked in.
I looked at her outfit, she could pull any colour off. She was wearing a brown satin dress that hugged her body but not too much.
"You look so pretty baby." she complimented, Brianna knew that now ending my second trimester I wasn't feeling so good about my appearance. Brianna didn't hesitate to remind her how beautiful I was.
I hadn't gained a crazy amount of weight, my doctors has mentioned me being underweight as I was carrying twins. But I still felt like a damn whale.
But Bri pointed out that my stomach and ass was where most of my weight was as well as her boobs.

It was around two when I walked into my parents house. Salice rushed over and gave me a tight hug. She'd been a big help, in preparing for the arrival of the babies.
"Look at you! I need to feed you let's go." she said grabbing my hand.
"I've not said hello to anyone." I laughed as I saw all the people gathered in the house.
"Tuff, today is about you and these babies what do you want? Everything okay?" she said before I could even answer.
This might sound stupid but I didn't realise how many people I knew until they were all in the same place. My friends and family all in one place was a lot of people. I followed Brianna out to the garden, her mom was the first person I saw.
"You look gorgeous Mija! How are you feeling?" she said before giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"A lot better actually." I spoke with her a little before Salice was hollering for me to go and eat.
So I managed to eat my food before saying hello to everyone else. That was when I saw Jayce talking away to Micah. I walked over and Micah gave me a side hug so he could turn me around.
"That big ass box is from me so my nieces know who they favourite uncle is." he pointed to the gift table. There was a big white box with a ribbon around it.
"You're unserious but thank you." I laughed.
"And I sent you a lil some."
"I don't want your money Micah." I shook my head.
"Babies ain't cheap." he shrugged, he left me and Jayce to talk.
I feel like we literally haven't seen eachother properly in a minute. My birthday was the first time we spent time together in a long time. But the distance is doing good because I feel like it gave me time to be mad and move past it all.
"How you feeling?" he asked while trying not to make it obvious that he was looking at me.
"Like a whale honestly." I shrugged.
"You look good mama, you ready?" he motioned to my dad who was holding the cannons.
I nodded, we were going to find out the genders and I couldn't be more excited. Before anything I told Micah where my keys were since all the gifts had to somehow get firm here to my house. And he offered to load up my car.

I stood at the end of the garden with Jayce standing next to me. Himself and Brianna were holding the cannons since I was too sacred to do it. Everyone started a countdown.
"3..2..1!" they all yelled, both powder cannons went off and pink smoke went everywhere.
"Ahhhh!" I screamed, I was shocked when the screen left my mouth. I didn't expect to re at like that hit then I felt the water works start.
"You owe me a hundred dollars fool!" my dad yelled to his brother, my uncle. I laughed at the sound of my dumb as daddy. Jayce kissed my head, Brianna gave me the biggest hug.
"You'll ruin your makeup sweets." she said dabbing under my eyes.
Everyone was in awe but it all soon died down. There was a few games planned but my feet were killing me.
Brianna took my hand and we headed into the living room.
"Is there any cake or anything I need something sweet."
"Salice made cheesecake."
"I love her." I croaked as tears flooded my eyes. I'd been craving cheesecake for weeks and I told her, so I guess she made it just for me.
"Aw poor baby." Brianna cooed as she wiped my face.
She went to get me some cheesecake. These emotions literally had me in a chokehold. I'm hoping they fix up because it was exhausting to be honest.

I opened the front door and walked in. Micah and Jayce walked in carrying the gifts, it took a few trips but they managed to bring everything in. I thanked Micah and gave him a hug, he left. Thankfully Brianna was on her way over because I hate sleeping alone.
"You need anything?" Jayce asked me, I shook my head.
"I'm good." I said but he didn't look like he believed it.
"You cool staying here by ya self?"
"Mhm...can I have a hug?" when I asked that it caught myself as well Jayce off guard. And I'm going to blame the babies, because I want to be around him more and more.
"You wanna hug me?" he asked just to be sure and I nodded.
Jayce stepped back into the house and wrapped his arms around me. His cologne filled my nostrils, it smelt so good I swear I almost moaned.
"Mama you sure you're okay?" he asked and I pulled away.
"Yeah just...hormones." I said, it was the only answer I could think of. He left, I locked up before waddling up to my room, now just left with my thoughts.
