𝐎𝐦𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 | 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡

At around nine in the morning Aaliyah was woken up by a tight pain in her stomach. As she carefully rose from the bed she gasped feeling her waters break. She mentally cursed and looked around for a towel. Today just happened to be the day that she was by herself in the house.

Once the contraction passes she managed to clean herself up and pull on some clothes. She went to her contacts and dialled Jayce's number, he grumbled into the phone as he was half asleep.

"Liyah....you see the time?" he yawned.

"My waters broke Jayce."

"Ah shit! I'm coming stay on the phone."

Aaliyah's phone dropped out of her hand, she clutched the edge of her bed as another contraction hit her out of nowhere. "Fuck! Why are they so close!" she hissed.

Jayce arrived in a matter of minutes, not only did he speed down there but may or may not have hopped a few red lights. He entered the house by using his key, he had one incase she was alone at the house went her water breaks and he needed to get in.

"I need a shower." Aaliyah said and Jayce looked at her like she was crazy.

"You in labour or you forget that?"

"I don't care I need to be clean, go pu the bags in the car." she said before walking into the bathroom.

"Crazy ass." Jayce mumbled as he made his way to the nursery.

He grabbed the bags, car seats and packed it all up in his trunk and backseats.While Aaliyah showered he grabbed her some clothes to change into. He grabbed his phone to call her midwife and let her know they were on route.

"I had like three contractions int he damn shower we need to go." Aaliyah waddled out of the bathroom.

"You forgetting you can't go to the hospital in a towel."

"Well then get out so I can change." she quickly hissed feeling another contraction. They were coming quickly and powerfully.

"Imma close my eyes but you need help." he said, Aaliyah was in no position to argue.

So Jayce helped her get ready to go, as soon as they were in the car, he put his foot on the gas. The hospital was a twenty minute drive but Jayce managed to do it in ten.

On arrival they were seen to fairly quickly. Aaliyah was busy bouncing on a pregnancy ball while Jayce made the phone calls. Aaliyah made it clear that she didn't want his mom there as she acted insanely at the beginning of their breakup. So he called her parents and no one else. Due to the time there would be traffic but Aaliyah didn't expect the babies to make an arrival any time soon.

Hours later and there was still no babies, her doctors were growing concerned. He'd contractions were closer than they should be but she wasn't nearing delivery. Aaliyah sniffled wiping her face as the next contraction came along. She felt like this had been going on for too long and there was no change.

"I feel like I'm dying." she mumbled while covering her face with her hands.

Jayce grabbed the rag that he'd ran under cold water and pressed it against her forehead, "You're doing good mama." he said.

Her doctor entered the room to do yet another check but this time there was a big change. "I don't want you to panic. But I'm going to get your taking down for a c section. One of the babies is now laying side ways and can't be pushed out, hence why things haven't been living along."
