"Just do it man. There's literally no other way to show her that she's not his bitch." He growled into the phone.

I groaned. "But, but, dude this is like insane. I can't do that!"

"Do you want the money or not?"

I rubbed the bridge of my nose and sighed. "Yes, I do. Fine, you've got yourself a deal."

"Good, five hundred grand on the dot as soon as this is done."

"This is going to take some planning. It's not like I can just move right in and do this."

I looked at the board I had hung up in a locked room of my basement. I had pictures pinned to it of Luke and Caroline. There was a map with places circled on them. Where they lived, places they visited often, their childrens' school and daycare. I had notes written out all over the board too. I was good at planning. To be able to pull this off I needed to be organized.

"I know," he said. "I just want it done as soon as possible. The sooner the better."

"You got it, sir."

I woke up in Luke's arms. Last time, I would have freaked, but this time, I was okay. Memories from last night came flooding back and I smiled. Last night I had finally believed Luke with the fact that he wanted a future with me. There was never a doubt in my mind that he didn't love me, it was just a bit of uncertainty of if he wanted to grow old with me. I guess I was so insecure because with a snap of a finger, he could have any other woman he wanted.

It was just so surreal to have a man care so much about me. He cared and loved me so much that he turned his nose up at other women for nineteen years with the tiny bit of hope he could find me again. I know for a fact that he's capable of figuring out that those chances were even less than slim to none, yet he still held on for me.

I shuffled to the kitchen to have some coffee. I winced a bit as I reached for a coffee cup. I knew then that I was going to be in pain all day. I guess not having sex for eight years and then all of the sudden having it again, I'd be sore. Thank goodness for Tylenol.

I poured a cup of coffee and added my normal creamer and sugar. I took a sip as I looked out the kitchen window. I noticed a moving truck pulling into the driveway across the road. That driveway led up into the woods where there was an old rundown cabin. Nobody had lived there for years. It was the only other house in at least a five mile range. I liked the seclusion of the area. I found it odd that somebody was just now moving in. Many people have looked at the home but never bought it because of how much maintenance needed to be done.

I felt hands rub up and down my arms and scruff tickle my neck. "Mmm mornin', babe." Luke mumbled in his morning voice.

I bit my lip. If there's one thing that made me die a little inside, it was Luke's morning voice and bedhead.

"Good morning, Luke." I said, turning around and kissing his cheek.

I moved across the kitchen to the fridge and pulled out eggs and bacon to make breakfast. I turned and sat them on the counter. I laughed as I saw Luke with a look of surprise on his face.

"What, no kiss this morning?" He asked.

I squatted down and grabbed a pan out of the cabinet next to the sink. "Nope, cowboy, you got a bunch of those last night and I did give you one, on the cheek."

I sat the pan on the stove and watched as he shifted from one foot to the other. "Well, yes, but what if I want one this morning that's not on the cheek?"
