Benny and I decided to go to the county fair, since none of the guys were there at the sandlot.
Again.
It's been like the third time they've done that, and it's starting to piss me off. It's been a week since we last played there, and I'm a dying to go back out and play.Benny and I reached the fair, and bought tickets. We walked around in the heat for a while, before deciding to sit at the shady food court. "God," I started. "Its hotter than the devils sauna here." I realized how corny that probably sounded, and chuckled. Benny laughed as well. I looked to my right to see the guys, with a group of girls. My jaw dropped, and I smacked Benny's arm. "Look," I said and pointed to the guys.
"You're kidding," Benny said to himself. "They've been bailing for girls," I said for him. I laughed and shook my head. "I wonder how they managed to get them." Benny shook his head in both disappointment and amusement. "I cant believe them.." I said lowly. I then stood up and started walking to them before Benny could stop me. "So," I started as they all looked at me. "You've been skipping games for chicks, eh?"
All they did was look at me without saying anything.
