"The- the Beast?" Smalls said, clearly scared. Benny nodded. Squints spoke, "Meanest dog in history, with the meanest, most cruel owner in history, too." Smalls was now terrified, I could tell. "I'm confused," he said awkwardly. We all looked at each other, then said, "Camp out."

Later on we were in Timmy and Tommy Timmins' tree house at around nine o'clock. Smalls walked up the steps in a nice jacket and actual pajamas. We all took glances at him, but then focused on what we were originally doing. "Sorry guys, my mom made me put on my jacket then do the dishes," Smalls said. They all started laughing. Ham teased him, saying, "oh did mommy make you do the big bad dishes, then put a jacket on? Oh that's so terrible." they all started laughing accept for me and Benny. "Cut him a break, guys," I said loudly.

After Squints finished the long and "terrifying" story, Smalls still didn't believe him. "Go look over the fence then, but be quiet, he just went to bed," Squints whisper-yelled. Smalls slowly looked over into the creepily quiet yard. He flew backwards suddenly and none of us were surprised. "I- I saw it!" He yelled. All of us yelled, "Shh!"

For the rest of the night, we roasted s'mores and talked about baseball, of course. I did realize that Smalls looked a bit terrified still.
