Nearing the sandlot, my face started feeling hot, like i was blushing a lot. I tried to focus on something else to stop the blushing. When we reached the sandlot, all eyes were on us. I heard a few snickers from the guys, who were trying really hard not to laugh. Ham started talking. "So, how'd that happen?" he said then started to laugh. All the other guys bursted into laughter. "Hey, I think theres something going on between them," Squints yelled. And here comes the never ending teasing.
It felt like hours that the guys were laughing at us. I rolled my eyes at every remark they made towards us. Benny sighed. "Guys, please, grow up and go spend your lives doing something other than focusing on an unintentional coincidence," Benny said. Wow, he must be really pissed off. The guys shut up and based up.I stood at second base, near Squints, who was makin kissy faces.
When we moved positions, I took left center, near Yeah Yeah, Bertram, and Timmy. All of them started teasing me and making rude comments about my outfit that they thought were "extremely hilarious and necessary to say". I sighed and gave up. "You know what?" I yelled. "Get a life!" Everyone was staring at me as I ran off the field and along the road to my house.
