Starting Over

Part 3

If she brought this up to her members she's sure they are just going to say that's how adult life works. But she never have any siblings and the members are the only close family bond she had here in Korea. And the feeling of loss made her feel heartbroken.

Jisoo unnie and Rose have their own siblings to get back to and Jennie unnie already manage to be on her own independently since she was a small child. It only cleared that she was the only one feeling the loss of their close bond.

She decided to focus on her work and for a while it worked as their schedules were tight and it occupied most of their time. But that's when it become worse. She observed Jennie getting more and more annoyed with her.

There were just getting ready for an interview when Jennie unnie made an impromptu decision to go live on Instagram with Jisoo unnie. Lisa couldn't help but feel excited as well and quickly ran over to join them as soon as her makeup was done.

But she saw both of her unnies frown upon her arrival. Jennie even turned around as if to reposition her phone but she knows it was just to exclude her from the screen. Though she felt a slight pang of hurt she still fixed a smile on her face.

Since she knows her presence was not welcome she just took a step back.

"Erm..I'm just gonna..." She gestured towards the back room.

But before she could go any further she felt Jisoo grab her arms.

"Aniya...aniya...it's okay. Stay."

As she felt Rose coming from behind her, she lowered herself to the ground so that she could be included in the livestream too. She started to lean and back away but Rose just stood firm behind her stopping her from leaving.

When Jennie's camera started pointing at her, she just gave the viewer small waves and greetings in her native language. She watched as Jennie attempted to do the same and cheer her when she got the words right.

But the mood simply changed again when Jisoo unnie started to be playful with her. She can see that Jennie's annoyed face returned. Jennie stopped the livestream minutes later telling the fan that they have to go for another meeting. But she already braced herself for the scolding that was surely to come.

Jennie glared at her. "Will you stop it? I thought I already made it clear that behaviour is not acceptable in front of Blinks!"

"Hey...she didn't do anything. I was the one that started it." Jisoo defended her..

Jennie just huffed loudly before going to the managers informing them not to let Jisoo unnie sit beside me again as we can't remain serious when we are sitting beside each other. Basically, it just means that Jennie will be assigned with her whenever they are out for public engagements but as expected she'll just be left alone on her own.

And when her other members started to ignore her so that they were not pulled into playful banter with her, she knows it's Jennie's unnie doing. One can accept such cold stares from her enough to get the hint.

It became so obvious when they went to the awards show. Even the fan captured the scene where she was left standing awkwardly at the side while her other members were interacting with the other group. 

They even captured her being left wandering alone during the awards show. Usually she relied on her members to guide her through all the noisy crowds because it was difficult to understand what other people were saying since it's too loud. 

On top of that, they were using another language that she has yet familiarized herself with and that made it harder for her to comprehend what the others were saying.

She guessed they forgot about her difficulties as she was left wandering alone while Jisoo and Rose walked close together and chatted with other group members. Jennie unnie in the meantime went up to Irene unnie and seemingly had fun laughing together while walking hand in hand towards the middle stage. 

The only time she felt Jennie looking for her was when the cameraman shouted for us to be ready. She just raised her eyebrows and widened her eyes to Lisa as if warning her to behave.

Lisa thought she was just being irrational that night, being silly for feeling sad and hurt after her members left her all alone. But when she watched the fan clip of that night, she made her decisions right then. 

They will be fine without her. Since most of the bad comments from netizens were directed to her, leaving the group this will help divert all the hate from them. They don't need that kind of publicity.

She went to her room and started packing her things.
