Chapter 220 - Darkness Descend

Chapter Cover: Eve and Lucy chilling out at her apartment as many of the Celestial Spirits were dancing around them.

"Eve…,"

I let out a soft hum as I leaned against Erza's form. She had removed her armor with a single Requip spell and she was now very soft. The pain that I felt inside my chest was still there but it had lessened quite a bit. I had closed my eyes and simply enjoying the gentle breeze of the area.

"Yeah, what is it?"

"Something is going on at the guild," Erza said.

I opened my eyes.

"What is going on?" I asked her.

"I don't know," the redhead answered, "But I heard Mira downstairs closing the café for the day. I think that there is something going on."

"I wonder what's going on," I murmured pulling myself up.

Erza stood up as well before she gave me a sideway glance.

"Are you feeling okay?" she asked, "You still look a little pale."

"I'm feeling alright," I answered, "Still feeling a little pain but other than that, I'm still okay."

The redhead nodded as she requiped into her armor again. The girl smiled at me before we both headed back downstairs to see what was going on. I didn't even hear Mira speak about anything so I couldn't tell exactly what was going on. I might have fallen asleep.

"I didn't fall asleep while we were up there right?" I told her as we entered inside the main hall of the guild.

"You did only for a few minutes," the redhead answered me.

As we reach the rest of the guys I noticed that most of them had a horrified look upon their faces and it causes confusion to run through me. I approached one of the girls, a purple haired one, Kinana, if I remember her name correctly.

"Hey, what happened?" I asked.

"It's Laxus and the Thunder Legion," she said, "Something bad had happened to them."

"What do you mean?" Erza asked, "What happened?"

I feel myself freezing at the mention of the Thunder Legion. Sakura had just left with them earlier today and if something had happened to them.

"Where are they?" I asked forcefully.

"the infirmary," Kinana said.

I turned away from the girl and fully ran up toward where the infirmary was, going up the stairs two at the time before throwing the door of the room open. Master Makarov, Lisanna as well as Mira were there and they looked back toward me at my entrance, but I hardly paid attention to them as my eyes were instantly drawn toward the figures that were upon the beds. Freed, Bickslow, Evergreen, Laxus and Sakura were all lying down upon the bed, completely out of it. They were all in pain from what I can see, their skin pale and clammy.

I stared at them, as they were gasping in pain. I instantly walked toward Sakura's bed and kneeled beside the girl's. I took hold of her hand and it was shaking with how much pain she was in. I tightened my grip upon her hand as I stared toward her.

"Sakura," I whispered, my voice trembling with fear and worry about what had happened to her.

The door opened again and Porlyusica was there, dressed in her familiar red cloak as she made her way into the room. When did they sent for her I don't know but the woman was already checking upon Laxus and the others before turning toward us.
