Jamie and Eddie: Best Friends Until the End

Chapter Two: Taken

        Eddie had been walking back to her apartment and had just finished having a fun night out with her best friend Jamie. They had gone bowling, saw a movie and had a late dinner out. It was a week before graduation and they were both so excited to both be going to police academy. Eddie was almost at the elevator when  someone grabbed her.
"not funny Jamie" she laughed
       The man had grabbed her wrist and then covered her mouth
"shut up" he said
"Janko's daughter right?" a man laughed
"if you scream I will kill you" he said
          Eddie was frozen with fear. Her Dad had recently been arrested and had a lot of enemies. She did what the man said and didn't scream
"now we're gonna walk out of here calmly. There are camera's, but if you scream I will slit your throat and then go after that boy I saw you with earlier" he said
"you got this? You gonna be a good girl?" he asked her
       Eddie just nodded her head yes frantically. The man had one arm around her waist and the other gripping her hand like a vice. She shook the whole way through the lobby and to the parking lot. He shoved her into a car and the tears started to fall
"please I'll give you whatever amount of money you want, I'll do whatever you want- please just let me go back home" she cried
"shut up bitch" he said
      The doors were locked and the car started to drive away. Eddie was screaming as she tried to kick the doors and she even tried opening the window to jump out of a moving car, but he shut and locked the windows and smashed her hand in it which made her cry out in pain. She watched in horror as her apartment building got further and further away--
"please" she begged
"please don't do this to me" she said
"I want to go home!!" she cried
         She remembered she had her phone in her pocket so she tried to text Jamie from the back seat, but she barely got it turned on and had his name pulled up when he saw her in the mirror, he slammed on the breaks to pull the car over and she slid off the seat. He smacked her pretty hard and took her phone and threw it out the window.
"if you try to be stupid again, next time it'll be more then a slap" he said
Eddie was just crying hysterically. She had never been so terrified.

       The drive was long... At least a few hours. They had stopped along side of the road once so they could both go to the bathroom but he blocked her from the road and watched her go
"can you at least turn around?" Eddie begged
"just piss and get in the car. NOW!" he yelled
She was still crying as she pulled her pants down. He had a gun held to her head as she was going to keep her from running off. They got back in the car and a few more miles down the road he tied her hands with rope and dragged her out by her hair to the shed in the backyard. Once they were in the shed he untied her hands and left his gun on the table where she could see it
"start taking your clothes off" he said
"no please" Eddie said
"take your clothes off! I won't ask nicely again" he said
"please don't do this to me" she cried
"please!" she cried
       She fell to the floor in tears and she curled up in a ball. The man picked her up and threw her onto the mattress. Her head hit the wall and she screamed out as he got on top of her
"please don't" she cried
"NO PLEASE!" she begged
"STOP!!!" She screamed
           He held her down as he ripped her clothes off. He used his knife to cut her shirt and her bra. She tried to cover her breasts but he restrained her arms with his belt. She went to kick him as well but once he got her jeans and underwear off he tied her legs to the end of the bed. Now she was bound, naked and about to be assaulted.
She was crying and screaming. She knew she was going to feel pain. Tears ran down her face as she felt him spread her legs and touch her... Her heart was racing. He took his own clothes off and when he forcefully slammed into her, she screamed in pain
"NO IT HURTS!" she cried
"it hurts, please stop" she cried
"owww! Stop!! Please" she begged
        Every thrust was painful. Her body was on fire. He was grabbing at her breasts as well, pinching her tender nipples aggressively. She tried to squirm out of his grip... and in this moment, she wanted to die. She was humiliated and in pain. She wasn't sure how long he did it for, but it was a long time.
"it hurts, please" she begged
"I can't do it anymore" she cried
"please stop" she said no longer screaming as she was exhausted
          Finally after what seemed like hours- he stopped. He pulled out of her and put his clothes back on. He untied her hands and only left one of her legs chained to the bed. She sat up and was horrified by how much blood she saw. Her legs were covered along with the bed sheets. He didn't say anything when he was done. He just left her there- Naked, bleeding and alone. She looked at her body and she was so broken. She just wanted Jamie or her Mom to hold her. She just wanted someone to tell her they loved her.
       When he left she sat up and cried. She pulled her knees to her chest and just sobbed. Everything hurt.

      She was left alone the rest of that night. She tried to sleep but couldn't. She was still crying. She hadn't stopped crying since he took her at the elevator. Even though it was spring time, because of all the rain it was cold- since she was naked in the shed and she didn't even have a blanket. She finally cried herself to sleep and passed out.
The next morning she woke up. Her body still hurt. She tried to pick at the chain on her ankle and ended up cutting her hand up pretty good. She walked as far as the chain allowed her which was about ten feet. She hated not having clothes on... she felt so dirty and disgusting. She paced the floor for a while when finally the door opened to the shed. Her body instantly got tense and started shaking
"you're up" he said
"can I go home yet?" she asked
"not yet" he laughed
"I brought you some food" he said
He handed her one piece of toast and a half a glass of water. She ate the food quickly and wanted more
"can I... please take a shower?" she begged
"I feel gross" she said
"I'll bring you the garden hose" he said
He went back outside, locking the door using the code box. When he came in he threw the hose at her and she had to clean herself up in front of him. The water was freezing. She was still crying.
"do you have a towel and maybe a tshirt?" she asked
"you get things as your earn them" he said
"so far you haven't earned anything yet" he said
"what did my Dad do to you? Why did you pick me?" she asked
"you talk too much. If it'll help keep you quiet I can put a rope in your mouth" he said
"I'm sorry" she said
"good girl. I'll be back later" he said
Eddie sat on the small bed which was just a hard mattress and old bed frame. She was still soaking wet and cold. The hours crept by. Every minute was painful. She just wanted to go home. She just wanted Jamie or her Mom.

It had been two days since Eddie Janko was missing. Jamie was losing his mind. He called her, he texted her... he went to every friends house and hung posters every six feet in New York city. The posters read
"Edit 'Eddie' Marie Janko. Blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink tshirt. Eddie is only 5'4, about 130 pounds. Last seen walking to her apartment from the lobby of her building. Eddie is a beloved daughter and friend. Please help bring her home. Please call the police station asap if you see her!!"
Jamie cried as he hung the posters. His hands were shaking as he used the staple gun. He checked all of her favorite stores and diners before heading home again... and no one had seen Eddie anywhere. When he got home he took a shower and went to bed. He got out his phone and shared another photo of him and Eddie..
'Dear Eddie... it's been two days. Two days of hell without you. God I miss you... I'm so sorry I didn't protect you. I promise one day I will find you and bring you home. I promise. I love you always, Jamie Reagan'
He wanted to post fairly often or make youtube videos in hopes she's see it. He knows the chances were slim but maybe she'd at least know they hadn't given up on her. If Eddie was still alive, he knew she was going through hell.
