Chapter 13. Dishonesty

It was late at night, and it was cold. Alphonse was up to see that everyone beside him was asleep. He checked in both of his pockets and inside of them was a gun, specifically a hand gun and a piece of paper.

He got up, thinking that Euphoria wasn't awake, pointed his gun towards the sky and fired. There was a loud bang, and the one branches from above snapped and fell.
"THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" Euphoria yelled, getting off of Karsyn's lap.
"Oh, you're not meant to be up at this time-"
"Doesn't matter. Anyways, what the hell are you doing with that gun?"
"Nothing-"
"WELL YOU'RE DOING SOMETHING! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH. THAT. GUN?!"
"I said, NOTHING!"
Euphoria tackled Alphonse to the ground and began to aim for the gun. They were so loud that Karsyn woke up to see them fighting. Euphoria scratched his eye, leaving a big scar across his eye. Alphonse kicked him in the nose and it began to bleed.
"Ow-"
"First of FUCKING ALL, THE FUCK IS ALL OF THIS? EXPLAIN. SECOND OF ALL, WHY DO YOU HAVE A GUN, ALPHONSE?"
Atticus heard, he wasn't really asleep, but as soon as Karsyn mentioned Alphonse having a gun, he woke up and looked to check if Idyllic was okay.
"Jeez, you shouldn't really be making this a bigger problem-"
"I don't care. Just explain why you have the gun, Alphonse."
"I was trying to test it out, I didn't mean to scare you guys. I need this just in case some demon-sucking ass-hole tries to hurt us."
Euphoria knew he was lying, but before he could punch Alphonse once more, Karsyn dragged him out of the fight. Atticus on the other hand, cocked his head and he did this really serious stare, as if he was about to turn Alphonse into stone.
"Are. You. Fucking. Joking?"
"Oh...Atticus, I can explain-"
"You can't explain SHIT."
"I can just-"
"No."
"Let me-"
"No."
"What did I say about the truss?"
"No fighting...and if we do, then we won't-"
"Exactly. But since it's really early, and I'm a generous person. I will let you off for now, but I swear to God. If I see that gun one more time, and you use it irresponsibly, you will be out of here. YOU HEAR ME?"
"Yes."
"Yes, who?"
"Yes, Atticus..."
"Now, sit down and go back to sleep."
"Wait, explain this!!! Why are you not asleep."
Atticus was getting sick of Alphonse's presence, "I have insomnia, bitch."
"Ah."
"Now, go back to sleep."
Alphonse sat down and headed to sleep, Karsyn was busy wiping Euphoria's bloody nose with his hand.
"I wish we had gauze."
"Yeah..."
"Listen, I'm going to leave my hand here for 15 minutes, if it's not gone by then, I'll take you to Jolene, sounds fair?"
"Mhm."
Karsyn didn't care that Euphoria's blood was on his hand, he just wanted him to be okay. Euphoria pulled his hand away and looked at him, "Hey. I think the blood has stopped now."
"You sure?"
"Yeah, see!"
Euphoria was right, the blood had stopped. And that was a good thing, because that meant that Alphonse didn't kick him too hard and it was just a light nosebleed. Karsyn took off his cloak and wrapped it around Euphoria.
"Hey, hey....you're fine. Don't worry, if that day-hooker comes near you..."
Karsyn took out the revolver and checked if there was bullets loaded, he closed the cylinder and finished his sentence, "He's dead."
"Wait, why do you have that?!"
"I don't know, I just saw it laying next to the book, before we went to the others."
"Oh. Well, it's a good thing you have that-"
The book sprang out a purple ray of light and Wanderer began to talk:

"Good day, Karsyn. Well, that's actually your fathers gun...that's why it has the initals K.M on them, because his name is Khristin Meville! That doesn't matter though, because you were given this gun so you could duel Romero once you've collected all of the artefacts in this book."

"Wait what artefacts? And how do you know my fath-"
