Chapter Eleven

"Ain't this a hell of a thing," Alex said standing in the doorway. She crossed her arms and leaned on the door frame. I looked at her and she had a smile on her face. "Has he told you that he's been waiting to do that ever since he met you, " Alex asked walking into the room and up to us. I smiled and looked back at Hunter; he blushed. I placed my hand on his cheek and moved my thumb over his cheek bone. He looked at me and smiled. I took my hand away and Alex was smiling ear to ear. "I knew that this would happen someday. Just never knew that it would be during training," she said taping her chin. "Oh wait no... I did picture it like this. Where she beat you in sparing. I just didn't expect you to get your shoulder dislocated," Alex said and she eyed Hunter. Hunter shook his head and waved off Alex's comment. I walked to Alex and whispered in her ear.

"Do you wanna do our little trick?" She smiled and nodded. Then we looked at Hunter with an evil smile.

"What are you two up to, " he asked getting a little nervous. I winked at him and with a wave of my hand Alex and I were surrounded by shadows. The shadows swirled around us; separating us from him. The air picked up and it got a little windy. Then Alex started to add fire around the shadows. Alex and I disappeared from Hunter's view. I moved through the shadows and Alex moved in the flames that she's created. Alex struck first. She jumped at Hunter from the front and I jumped on his back; taking his arm and flipping him on to his stomach. "God damn that hurt," Hunter said in his native tongue. Alex laughed and so did I. Alex walked to him and pulled him to his feet.

"Come on now. You've gotten hurt worse. Come now, let's work with your elemental sparing Kida." Alex said while taking off her sweatshirt. She was wearing the same outfit I was, just with different patterns. Alex and I started sparing with Fire. I created Fire Daggers and started to throw them at her. She flipped and dodged each one. One cut her across her arm. She shouted and held her arm. Then she looked up at me, "Well played my friend... Well played." She got up and she did a fire roundhouse kick. I ducked and rolled forward to my feet; once I did Alex had a fire spear. My eyes widen as she lunged at me with the spear in hand.

I did a back bend and the spear was inches above my nose. I could feel the heat radiating from it. It made me sweat a little more. Then she brought the spear down and I fell onto my back to avoid getting burned. She went to strike me again, but I put my hands up. When I did, a spear formed in my hands. Alex froze; her spear is still on top of mine. When I looked back, I had a metal spear in my hands. "How the..." Alex didn't finish. I was just as shocked as she was.

Then we heard footsteps coming towards us. Alex took her spear away and stood next to me as the person got closer; Bucky. He came to my side and put his metal hand on my shoulder. He took my vacant hand and pulled me to my feet while I still had the spear in my other hand. Alex and Hunter just stared at me in shock.

"But I thought you could only control the Elements not including the Shadows," Hunter commented.

"The that's what I thought too. But I guess not," I replied. Bucky took the spear from my hand and looked at it.

"Do you know what kind of metal this is," he asked; looking at me in shock. I only shook my head. "This is one of the toughest metals in the world. How can you control it," Bucky asked looking at me in shock and amazement. I started to speak until I get cut off by someone else.

"So Bucky. You never told me you had a sister." A dark man dressed in all black with an eye patch was standing a few feet away from us. Then Steve walked into the room.

"Nick what do my you mean? I thought you knew. I thought you knew everything," he said standing next to the man he called Nick. Bucky and I looked at each other then back at Nick.

"When you guys brought her back here, I asked Dr. Banner to do a DNA scan. When it was complete, her bloodline traced back to you. Dr. Banner, with my permission, found out how you two got separated. But first, tell me something Kida; How did you end up working for Hydra," Nick asked walking into the room. Before I answered he guided Bucky and I to the break room and we all sat together. The Twins followed us and just stood at the back of the room. "Now, please answer the question." I tried to think. The more that I tried to focus the more the shadows moved. That was the one of many things the scientists never let me remember. Then Hunter interrupted.

"She can only remember so much. The more she has to try and focus especially when her emotions are high like this, the more her powers will shift," he said putting his hand on my shoulder from behind the couch. Then Alex stepped forward.

"Here Kida take this." She handed me something and I took it. Once it was in the palm of my hand, all my memories came flooding back.
