***Kida's P.O.V***

I unwrapped my fists as Bucky walked out of the training room. Once he was gone Tony walked up to me while I picked up the wrap.

"What do you want Stark? Do you just want to yell at me again?" I put the wraps up and turned to him and sat on the table's edge slightly. He walked up to me with his hands in his pockets. He got closer and I stood up straighter with my arms crossed.

"No. I just came to say...I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I didn't treat like I should have." I just rolled my eyes as he continued. "I was being a real Ass and I shouldn't have treated you like that."

"Yeah, I don't think that an Ass would be the right word to describe your behavior. That would be insulting to the Ass," I retorted. He pressed his lips together and looked at the floor. He nodded his head as he looked back to me; his tongue glossing his top row of teeth.

"Alright that's fair and well deserved," he replied.

"More like long overdue," I muttered to myself. I didn't know where this was going, but it was strange to see him being nice. He pulled a box from behind him.

"Anyway, I decided to give you this. See you at the party," he said while handing me the box. Then he walked away. About 30 minutes went by and people were already starting to come. My door was locked while I took my shower, but I still could hear voices and heartbeats outside my door. When I got out of the shower, I did my hair. Since I have naturally straight hair, I curled it. When I was finished with that, I left the bathroom with a towel wrapped around me. The box that Tony gave me was still on my bed. I sat on my bed and opened it.

It was a beautiful dress . I admired myself in the dress because I've never worn one; at least that I can remember. I looked back in the box and there was a pair of heels to go with the outfit. I slip those on and finish up my makeup. Then I was ready. I looked through the door and saw that Alex and Wanda were there. I walked out and they both looked at me in awe.

"Wow. You look amazing Kay," Alex said while looking me up and down. I smiled at her.

"Thanks. Tony gave it to me. I mean I'm not sure on why but..." Wanda and Alex nodded in response. "You guys look great too," I commented to them. Alex was wearing a dark blue, V-neck, crop top, dark ripped blue jeans, and a leather jacket. And on her thigh was a thigh holster. I chuckled at her and shook my head.

"What? What's so funny," she asked looking at herself.

"Do you really need that gun with you? I'm not judging by any means but in all honesty, I'm glad I'm not the only one," I replied with a smirk. She cocked her head to the side and smiled as I lift my skirt far enough to reveal a thigh holster of my own. The girls looked at it and Wanda laughed.

"Woah! Hold on a minute! Do you have a knife in there too," Wanda asked. I nodded and they both laughed. I look at Wanda and she was beautiful. She was in a short scarlet red dress that was like mine.

"So you ready to go," Alex asked me as she linked arms with me. I took a deep breath and nodded. The three of us walked to the party and there were so many people there. Even people from way out of town. It looked like Black Panther and his wife Storm was here. The entire X-Men was here too. Same with a blind man and a woman named Elektra.

The girls and I peeled off and went to make conversation. After a while, I headed towards the bar and just sat there. The Bartender gave me a drink and I just sat there and drank. As time continued to pass, I went to the next floor and looked over the party. Then I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist from behind. The person rested their chin on my shoulder.

"You look stunning," they said. I smiled.

"Thanks, Hunt." He let go of me and leaned against the railing next to me; watching the party with me for a moment.

"Hey how come you're not down there with the rest of us," he asked. I shrugged.

"This isn't exactly my scene. Plus, I feel like I don't really belong here," I replied as I rest my head on his shoulder.

"It's alright. That's why I'm here. Anyway, I better go because a few people want to meet you," he said as he kissed my temple. Then he was gone. And as soon as he left two people appeared.

"Hi. My name is Logan and this is my daughter," the man said while making quotations with his fingers at the word daughter.

"Why did you make quotations at the word daughter," I asked.

"Cause. She really isn't my child. People only call her that because we both have the same ability." I lifted an eyebrow. It started to slowly come back to me.

"You're Wolverine. And she's Laura Kinney. The New Wolverine," I said. When The words left my lips, I knew why they called her the "child" of Wolverine. She was an experiment herself; made from his DNA.

"You got it, kid," Logan said as he made a clicking noise with his tongue.

"Anyway, enough about us. Tell us about you Kida," Laura said as she leaned against the rail. I told them both about my scary past. And it turned out that they both went through the same thing. Logan told me about how he had gotten a metal surgically implanted into his skeletal system. As for Laura, she was forced to kill her mother. We all talked for about a half-hour more until they said that they were going to get a drink. Once they walked off, I was by myself again. Then Tony came up to me.

"Hey come on it's time to introduce you to everyone," he said. I follow him down the stairs and onto a little platform. I started to feel like something wasn't right with all of this. But I had no choice.
