He nodded and pressed his forehead to mine. Everyone crowded around us; flooding me with questions. I moved into Hunter and shut my eyes tight. Even from this floor, I could still hear the screams of Loki; even with all of the voices around me. Hunter held me tight. I just couldn't take it anymore. All the voices needed to stop. I break away from Hunter and shouted.
"Shut it!" The lights flickered out and I hurry to my room. By the time they turned back on, I'm gone. I was so upset, I started throwing things around my room. I threw a hand mirror against the wall and it shattered. I put my knee through the vanity, my fist through the dresser, my foot through the headboard of the bed. I double hammer fist the desk and tossed the small lamp at the door. When I stopped, I stood in the middle of the floor; looking at the damage I caused. My room was destroyed. Then I started hearing more voices. They were so loud I fell to my knees covering my ears.
"You don't belong here. You belong with me, at my side. You are my greatest creation," the voice said. The voice was a man's voice that I've only heard in my nightmares. He's done this to me on several occasions. But I've only heard him talk right before I am activated. Then I get up on his command. He is in control now, and there is nothing I can do to stop it. If you thought the trigger words were bad, this was worse. "Now that you are under my command you are now mine."
"You will never own me! I am not some pawn that you can manipulate! I will find a way to break free from your games. And when I do, I will come for you," I exclaimed. I could hear him chuckle.
"Your threats are amusing to listen to. You can't fight what you can't see my dear." My heart sank at that. He was right. I hate to admit it but he was right. "Now, leave and find your weapons. It's playtime." At this point, I couldn't fight him. I obeyed his command and left the room. The lights in the hallway were flickering on and off as I walked towards their weapons room. I got into my suit and strapped myself with my weapons. "That's my girl"
"I am ready to comply," I said in some sort of alien tongue.
"Good. Let's kill everyone."
***Bucky's P.O.V***
I made my way back to the party and everyone got quiet when I walked into the room. I started to slow my pace.
"What happened?" Nat walked up to me.
"Kida caused another blackout and when the lights turned on, she was gone. We don't know where she was at but as far as Friday could tell, she was in her room." Nat looked down at my busted knuckles. "What did you do," she asked as she put her hand on mine. I shook my head.
"Nothing." As the party continued, I sat at the bar with Natasha in my arms. I caught up with T'challa for a while. I asked him how his sister was.
"Oh, she couldn't come tonight. She's working on some new advancements in our borders."
"Does that girl ever take a break," Nat asked with a chuckle. Storm chuckled.
"I wonder the same thing sometimes." Nat and I nodded in agreement. We talked for about 12 minutes more until the lights started flickering again. Natasha grabbed me, and Storm moved into T'challa's arms. Then Steve and Sam rushed over to us.
"Hey what's going on," Storm asked.
"You guys. Somethings not right." The four of us looked at Steve with a questioning look.
"No. Ya think? Of course, something is wrong," Nat retorted. I pressed my lips to her hair then looked back at them.
"You guys listen! Hunter and Alex. We lost them. They froze up, they spoke in some foreign language and walked off," Sam said as he looked over his shoulder. I looked at T'challa and he had the same look I did. I grabbed Sam and Steve and pulled them closer. We all get into a huddle.
"Listen to me and listen very carefully. If I start, for any reason, start acting violently, Nat and Storm I need you to get everyone down to the basement level. And Steve and T'challa, I need you guys to fight me off." Nat turned around and looked at me.
"No Bucky I'm not leaving you," she said. I took her hand.
"All I need you to do is just get the others someplace safe. Mainly Dr. Banner. When that is done come back. Because you and Storm might have to take on my sister." She nodded. I looked at Storm and she nodded in agreement. I looked at T'challa. "And I need you to be on high alert. Remember how you fought me about two years ago." He nodded at me. "I'm going to need you to fight twice as hard as you did then." Everyone nodded. Sam asked me what we're going to be up against. And I told him that he had no idea.
