individual oc: Lazarus

Name: Lazarus Makin

Age: depends on love interest

Gender: male

Family: he comes from a long line of royal guards, though he is the only remaining member of his family

Species: Magica, essentially humans who are able to use magic

Role: previously royal guard, currently royal mage/ healer

Personality: Lazarus is a quiet, level headed Person. He's always been a gentle soul, enjoying helping people over all else. He's not shy, in fact he enjoys spending time around people, he just doesn't talk much himself.

Backstory: Lazarus was born an only child to two royal guards, being expected to become one too. Shortly after success, he and his parents went on a mission against a powerful mage, who cursed all three of them.
Lazarus was the only one to survive, and still suffers from the curse. His body from the chest up is covered in horrible scars due to it.
The curse comes out as an ugly tar-like substance, which burns the afflicted and whoever comes in contact with the Toxin. Lazarus discovered a potion to keep it at bay, but has to drink two every day at least.
He was unable to continue his work as a guard, so started work as a mage for the king, living in a small cottage in a garden on castle grounds. He makes potions for whatever royal matters require them, as well as caring for the king when he is ill and giving advice when requested
