Species: Lomei is a yokai, specifically a trickster who grants wishes
Personality: Lomei is known for being a relatively harmless prankster spirit, spooking humans who come too far into the forest. To other spirits the actually know him, he's a kindhearted person who loves animals. He enjoys stars and scaring humans, but would never intend to harm anyone, human or otherwise. He's very close to nature, flowers often growing near him if he lingers too long
Home: deep in the forest is where his original shrine was made, and it's where he still resides. The shrine is now overgrown with vines, and a large cherry blossom in constant bloom is growing out of it
Backstory: he used to be a popular spirit, with quite a few shrines around Japan. He was typically worshiped as a guide for children, or a nature spirit. Though over time, the humans grew tired of scary jokes and stopped, chasing him away into the woods whenever he emerged
