Powers: shifting, flight, water kinesis

Family: like most other dragons, he was raised by the human known as Dragon Mother. She is hailed as a queen and goddess figure in the dragon society, and raises the most common dragon species, which includes Branch.
Though he is a special case, he was actually hatched from his egg and fed from birth by Dragon Mother, instead of simply being taught like others of his kind. In all terms, she is his actual mother

Personality: Branch is typically calm and stoic, not one to go out of his way to interact with people. He enjoys catching fish and deer, and on occasion makes a connection with a human. He brings his hunts back to his community, though spends most of his time alone in the wild exploring

Community details: most dragons look a lot like branch, though they vary with colors and sizes to some extent. They are one of the smaller carnivore species (being about the size of a wolf in our world). They have minor elemental abilities, and some have no abilities aside from shifting.

Everyone wears a cloth around their chest, used to hold various things and act as a pouch or bag, but also to show individuality. Each cloth is bestowed by the Mother of Dragons after 5 years of life, and is hand selected by her.
Branch wears an extra cloth around his arm to show his status as Prince, and uses it to hold a dagger gifted by Mother. Warriors are given jewelry (like Branch has), and birth givers have peirced ears and earrings.
Aside from this, the society has no strict gender roles.
