Name: Hadia

Gender/pronouns: Female presenting, She/her

Role: Goddess of Death and the underworld

Powers: Pyrokinesis, shapshifting, levitation, telekinesis, ability to create portals

Personality: despite her sort of Macabre role, Hadia is kindhearted and gentle. The mortals who worship her accept that death is a part of life, and when their time comes, accept her open embrace to the chapter of the afterlife.
Hadia is one of the kinder gods, not only aware of the deaths of mortals, but the births of new gods and demi-gods.
She's often the first to know if a god is expecting and has been known to send gifts to those carrying godly children. Which has led to the confusion of several mortal women, unfortunately.

Likes: children, her home in Hades, mortals, black roses, the color blue, the night sky

Dislikes: sour foods, being called Evil, unnecessary aggression

Backstory

Long before the time of mortals, when the original gods were but children, there was a void in their domain in a dark cave. None of the gods or goddesses wanted to venture in, and played and grew nearby, but always kept away. They had seen scary shadows and creatures in the void after all, best to stay away.

One day, a small shadow nimph floated out of the void, looking around and spotting the silver waterfall, from which the gods drank. As she floated towards it, the little shadow whispered a tune, the gods playing nearby watching, listening;

"The little shadow flies away~
Even with the sky's all grey~
Up and out, to see the sun.
Silver falls bring lots of fun~

So she flies into the stream,
And lights the world up with a gleam~"

And so, the shadow floated into the waterfall, basking the area in a beautiful blue shine. And she emerged, a new godly child, and transformed the void into the underworld to home the dead
