Nickel's POV

I was helping at my father's hotel when some people came in. A boy, who had tan skin, black hair, and what seemed like a pendant on his neck. Then there was a girl with the same tan skin, (h/l), (H/c) hair, a white long-sleeve collar shirt, and a gold pendant around her neck with matching earrings. "Hello, ito ba ang Schwein hotel?" The boy asked. I cocked my head to the side staring at them confused. "Donny, English. Hindi ka nila maintindihan." The girl hit him with her elbow. "Right. Sorry. Is this the Schwein hotel?" The boy asked again scratching the back of his neck embarrassed. "Yes, it is. Welcome. My name is Nickel." I smiled at them. "My name is Y/n and this is my brother Donny. Sorry about earlier. We're not from these parts." Y/n smiled. "Well it's a pleasure to have you here. Both of you." Dad said. "Atin ang kasiyahan sir." Donny said. "Donny, English!" Y/n glared. "He said the pleasure is ours sir. As I said earlier, we are not from here and are used to using our country's language." Y/n apologized. "Don't worry! It's a common mistake. Especially for foreigners." I said. After a while, Dad lead Donny to their room, while Y/n stayed down here with me. "So, where are you from?" I asked. "I'm proudly from the Philippines." She smiled cheekily. "Well, I hope I'll get to know you better Y/n." I said as we said our goodbyes for now. I was hoping to spend more time with the girl tomorrow.

Time skip a few months...

Author's POV

Everyday, the two hung out together and little did they know they were falling for each other slowly. Garba and Donny saw it too. Nickel had learned how to speak Filipino fluently after a while of Y/n teaching him. She was sitting in her and her brother's shared room, as Nickel came in to hear her sing for the first time.

"I didn't know you could sing N/n." He smiled. "Nickel I-" She started but I cut her off by kissing her. She kissed back after a few seconds of shock. "Mahal kita." I smiled.
