Jinah had gained one point two kilograms over the week she was at home. And she didn't even mind. She didn't even care that she gained weight.

She was too occupied with planning a full ass apology to Jake Sim. She felt bad for leaving him on the parking lot like that. After talking to her mother, she quickly understood that it wasn't just Jake who made a mistake.

Jinah had reacted impulsively. Walking away from him, for having his own opinion about Lee Namsoo, was not the proper way to clear the air. Jake was allowed to have his own opinion about Namsoo and her boyfriend. It wouldn't have to match her own opinion.

And if Jake thought Lee Namsoo was an asshole, then in his eyes she probably was. Even if she didn't see it like that. For Jinah, Namsoo was her best friend, and she would do everything she could in order to make Namsoo happy. And if it was for her to pay every little thing, then Jinah would do.

But that didn't give her the right to tell Jake how to feel and what to say.

Jake was allowed to have his own opinion.

It was Monday. Jinah hadn't been at work for a whole week. She also hadn't been in contact with Namsoo either.

Today was Jinah's first day back at work. And the first day in a full week, where she was aware of what she was eating. She stared at the bowl of blueberry porridge and felt sick. She hadn't cared about her food at all this week and all of a sudden it dawned on her, how much she had actually eaten.

I'll throw it up afterwards, Jinah quickly thought and started shoving the breakfast down her throat. Nabi, who was sitting opposite of her, smiled, seeing her daughter eat. She hoped this weird phase of Jinah not eating anything was finally over. Maybe Jinah realized that chasing a body she could never have was useless.

"I'll apologize to Jake, first thing" Jinah told her mother when she heard Robin run into the kitchen, followed by her father. Marcus Kwon smiled. "Ah, my three favorite ladies all in one room" he chuckled and went over to his plum-haired daughter. He gently kissed the top of Jinah's head.

"Love" he said and looked down at the Gemini, "could you take Robin to work with you today?", he asked. Jinah looked up. It had been a few months since she last took Robin with her. "Ehm, sure. Why though?", she asked and Marcus smiled and walked over to Nabi.

Jinah watched her father take his mothers hand and gently kiss the knuckles on her right hand. Nabi giggled like a young school girl and hid her smile behind her hand. Jinah smiled watching the fond exchange between her parents.
