I wake to see my Dad leaning over the compact hospital bed, his hands furrowing amongst his forehead, revealing the many creases built along the years. "Dad?" I question surprised with his arrival; "Layna" He replies obviously surprised too. "How are you feeling? Are you okay? Do you need some space??" My Dad rapidly asks me, worry spreading across his agitated face. "I'm fine" I mumble, rather quietly "Well uh that's good, there's some people here to talk to you, say what comes to your mind, okay?" A flash of certainty wipes across his eyes but is quickly replaced by the worrying face.
I don't reply, I just stare at my father's eyes hoping to find some sort of clue or idea to what he just said; who's coming to talk to me? And what should I say? Before I'm given the chance to ask the man in front of me about what he just said, he stands up, two tall figures appear in the doorway the dim hospital lights barely illuminating their faces, a man stands against the doorway with sharp eyes staring at my father, the other character, stares at me, almost like he expects me to say or do something.
My Dad looks at the two figures before turning around to face me and speaks slowly "I have to go now Layna, just remember what I said to you" The flash of certainty returns for a second but is quickly disappeared with his normal grey eyes. My father turns back around and looks at the men in the doorway, he turns back me back, he stares into my soul echoing around my hallow brain and bounces of my beating heart "Okay" I whisper tilting my head downwards as my Dad leaves, and is quickly replaced by the two men in the doorway.
