Several minutes pass as we drive down the busy city roads, speeding past before we arrival at the hospital. "Are you alright to in on your own?" My Dad questions,
"Yeah" I nod whilst unbuckling my seatbelt, I swing the door open as the cool breeze of fog and rain hit my skin as I walk towards the front main door to the dull building. The doors automatically slide open for me as I walk towards the main desk; the air is rapidly filled with an overdose of disinfectant and misery. I walk closer to the desk and the quiet elevator music is disrupted by severe screeching babies.
"Hi, welcome to the Lake Drive Medical Centre, how can I help you?" The woman brightly smiles at me, "Hi, um yeah, I was just wanting to pick up some medicine under the name, 'Layna Breiman'", I gently smile at the woman, "Of course, dear" The woman then quietly stands up and walks away, opening a door and walking into a back room. I hear some quiet shuffles and whispers before she comes back out and asks be to take a seat a wait for a couple minutes. I walk over to an elderly woman reading a magazine, she repositions her small glasses before looking up at me. "Is, uh, this seat taken" I politely ask, "No, you can sit there" she smiles, I sit down on the small blue couch, reaching over to look at a magazine- there, of course, is none left. I feel a small vibrate in my pocket as my phone echoes a quick 'ding'. I pull out my phone to see I received a text:
