Brody

I could totally get used to this view.

Scarlett dancing around my kitchen, shaking her body to the music playing from the radio. Colby watches her excitedly, his tongue hanging out his mouth and his tail wagging.

Scar pats him on the head everytime he gets too close to her as she is stood over the hob cooking.

I lean in the doorway of the kitchen watching my beautiful girl move around, she knows where everything is now she's been here that often, wearing my shirt with little to nothing underneath.

I smirk at her not knowing I've been here all this time watching her. My eyes take in her body, her toned legs exposed, her hair pinned up in a clip, her face natural. My heart races knowing she is mine. I know we haven't set anything in stone with us and I did tell her last night that we would take one day at a time, but my need for her is growing everyday. I'm not prepared for the days where I wake up alone, or I can't hold her hand walking along the beach.

Shaking my head, I step towards Scar, still unaware of my presence. My hand wraps around her small waist as her body jumps in my arms.

"Brody! You scared me!"

She playfully hits my arm making me chuckle. I bury my head in her neck, placing a few wet kisses before she turns in my hold.

"You didn't have to cook breakfast."

"I know." She shrugs, a shy look on her face. "But I wanted to make up for last night."

"Hey, no, we spoke about that Scar, you don't have to make up anything okay?"

I tilt her chin towards me before placing a kiss on her lips.

"Okay." She smiles.

"Now, go outside and wait, I'll bring these out." She pushes all her weight against my chest not really moving me anywhere but I step back and do as she says.

Stepping out into the garden I see that Scar has set up the table for a full breakfast buffet. She has pastries, fruit, juice and coffee.

Why can't she just live here all the time?

"And here are the eggs!" Scar places a plate down each infront of us.

"Thanks for all this Scar, you didn't have to." I reach for her thigh as she tucks into her eggs.

"I just wanted to cook in your kitchen one time, having all that space and- I don't know." She shakes her head as she watches Colby who has followed us outside and laying by her feet. She pats his head gently smiling to herself.

"Well you can use my kitchen whenever you want." I lean over placing a kiss on her cheek as Colby barks, almost like he is agreeing with me.

I always knew she was a special girl even all those years ago at school, but there is something about her now that is so carefree and happy. The way she looks at her friends with so much love and adoration, I could only hope that I have Scarlett in my life for a very long time.

I'm falling for her. And I'm falling fast.

~

A couple of weeks pass and Scarlett has been busier this week with Charlotte and Justin's wedding fast approaching. The wedding is next Saturday, a week from now and tonight all the guys are getting together at one of the bar's an hours drive away from Whitedale.

"And you're sure it's alright that I stay here?"

"Yes for the tenth time." I pull Scarlett into my chest. I asked if she could stay at mine tonight to watch Colby and because when I get home tomorrow I really want to spend the day together. Preferably in bed, but I'll be happy aslong as we are together.
