Delicious VarietiesSetting down the bags Deuce huffed as I waved and yelled, "We're back!"
"Ah, you're finally back! Took ya long enough," Ace
"Let's get this tart-y started!"
"That made me respectfully want to kill myself," I mumbled as I shook my head disappointingly as Trey just laughed as we all got to work finishing up the tart.
"Okay, now we just sprinkle on a little powdered sugar, and..." Trey mumbled to himself as he sprinkled on the finishing touches.
"Finished!" Ace and Grim cheered as they high-fived one another. Deuce on the other hand was still out of it from our little shopping expedition.
"Fin...ished..."
Ace confusingly turned to mean and asked, "Did something happen to him while you were shopping?"
Laughing, I nodded while plainly saying, "Blueberry, is still in shock. Better let him work through this one himself."
"For sixteen years, I was so sure..." Deuce mumbled off in a corner all by himself causing Ace to cringe slightly.
"Yeah, whatever. I'm pretty beat. Making tarts sure takes it outta you," Ace yawned tiredly but soon after the kitchen door slammed open causing all of us to jolt in surprise.
"Hey, fam! You look wrecked. Are the tarts done?" Cater asked as he walked over to the tart, "Ooh, those look sooo cute! Lemme snap a quick pic for Magicam!" Cater smiled as he brought his phone out and quickly took a picture of the satisfying dessert.
Ace's eye twitched as he yelled out, "What, NOW you decide to show up?"
"I just came to see how hard my little newbs were working," Cater sugarcoated while smiling.
Trey on the other hand looked great. Damn I just noticed that he has muscles too, maybe being the wife of a baker wouldn't be too hard, I thought to myself as blush appeared on my cheek. However, my gaze also happened to meet Trey's causing it to darken even more as he smirked. Causing me to quickly look away.
