━━━ "A club fair? I didn't even know those existed on campus," I remarked, my eyes scanning the diverse array of club booths. Grim was currently at Ramshackle taking a nap, and I wanted to get some late evening studying in, so I went back to campus, only to be face to face with a club fair.

The courtyard was bustling with activity, stalls showcasing various clubs and their unique offerings. My attention was drawn to a familiar lion, Leona, standing next to a fellow first-year with lilac purple hair. With a smile, I made my way over to the pair.

"Leona! You look bored," I laughed as I strolled over, catching his green eyes as they looked up to meet mine. The monotony of his expression broke into a faint smirk, acknowledging the interruption.

"Yeah, yeah. This ain't my thing," Leona grumbled, but there was a subtle glint in his eyes that betrayed a hint of amusement. The unexpected encounter at the club fair added an unplanned twist to my evening of studying, and as we exchanged banter, a sense of camaraderie formed in the midst of the vibrant chaos of the fair.

I give me a faint smirk, "Clearly. You're over here drooling on your club business cards." I remark as I point to one of the small pieces of card stock that were wet.

Leona raises an eyebrow, a lazy smirk playing on his lips. "Well, can you blame me? These clubs offer the thrill of a lifetime. Exciting stuff, you know?"

I chuckle, shaking my head. "Oh, absolutely. I can see the appeal of, um, slightly damp cards. Truly riveting."

He leans casually against the booth, giving me a mock-serious look. "You've got no idea. Damp cards are the gateway to a world of adventure."

I feign fascination, widening my eyes. "Adventure, you say? Please, enlighten me. What wonders lie in the realm of soggy business cards?"

Leona grins, playing along. "First, there's the secret society of water-absorbent paper enthusiasts. We gather in hidden corners, discussing the mysteries of moisture and its impact on cardstock integrity."

I laugh, shaking my head. "Sounds exclusive. How does one join this elite club?"

He adopts a faux-mysterious tone. "Ah, you see, membership requires a profound appreciation for the subtle art of card dampening. A rare skill indeed."

I pretend to ponder this. "Hmm, I might need to attend a few seminars on the subject. Any upcoming events?"

Leona smirks, enjoying the banter. "We're hosting a symposium on the advantages of dewy cards versus fully dry ones. It's riveting, I assure you."

I playfully gasp. "A symposium? Count me in. But I warn you, I'm a tough critic when it comes to dampness discussions."

Leona chuckles, "I'll be sure to bring my A-game, then. Wouldn't want to disappoint the newest recruit to the soggy side of life."
