Chapter 29

Hello, my lovely readers. I am uploading chapters 28 and 29 at the same time. After all, it's Diwali :)

"Chote, Akash, you both look very smart. I am a proud sister today. But I should warn you, enjoy the attention while it last because once my two gorgeous sisters-in-law come here no one will pay attention to you two"

Anjali then moved towards Arnav and whispered so that only he can hear, "Specially you Chote, I don't think you'll be able to enjoy the party today because you'll be busy keeping Khushi away from all the gazes. She'll break many hearts today"

Even before she finished, Arnav felt a cold breeze running through him signaling that his wife, the person with whom he was secretly in love with is here. He turned his head around to the stairs to see the most beautiful creature in this world and his Di was on point.

Khushi wore a red saree with minimal jewelry and as always her light makeup was complimenting her natural beauty. 

"Is she getting beautiful day by day or am I going crazy?" Arnav murmured. 

When he thinks that's it, the is game over, she somehow manages to up the game. His heart was forward kicking him to go and kiss her right there but his brain kicked him back. Between his heart and brain dilemma, he didn't realize when he walked towards Khushi.

"Arnav Ji??, Arnav Ji???" Khushi touched his shoulder. 

He was standing in front of her holding her hand looking at her without blinking or moving. Everyone else was laughing at his situation.

"Oh, sorry Khushi I was thinking of a business deal" Lied Arnav not wanting to expose his vulnerable heart. 

But he couldn't help but say "Btw, you look beautiful today Khushi".

Khushi no longer wanted a party, she got her gift. She got her celebration. What else does she want than a genuine compliment from her Husband with whom she is head over heels in love?

"Bhai, Sorry to break your moment but I think we should move. Everyone's waiting for us."

"Yeah yeah Akash, sorry. Let's carry on"

"Btw, Arnav Ji, is it your sorry day today? I mean, two sorry's in one day, actually two sorry's in less than 10 mins. Impressive"

This bought Arnav back to reality. 

"Shut up Khushi, come let's go"

Khushi didn't know whether to be happy or worried. She just made a comment that definitely hit his ego but all he said was shut up. Is she dreaming or Arnav is not feeling well?

"Chote, Khushi, Akash, Payal" you all look very pretty and handsome said, Devi. 

"God bless you and may you keep supporting and loving each other for years and years"

"Nani Ji, but the most beautiful person today is Anjali Di. Look at her, she is glowing"

"I know Khushi, Di looks the best," said Payal agreeing with Khushi.

"Stop you both, I know you are trying to make me feel better. But you don't need to do that. " Anjali hugged all four of them.

"Come on, let's go and celebrate," said Akash lighting up the mode.

Everyone was having a great time apart from Arnav. He was busy keeping Khushi away from all these guys who were roaming around her as bees roam around a flower.
