"Khushi, are you ready? We are getting late. We need to go down and start welcoming the guests. I am already irritated with having to attend a party like that and you are making it worse"

"Give me a second Arnav Ji, you whine like a kid. This party is for your mama and Mami Ji. At least show some excitement. 30 years of marriage is not something you can take lightly. In an era where marriages end in days and weeks, this is almost equal to a miracle"

"Shut up Khushi, I am going to wait one more minute, and then I'll leave"

Knowing how stubborn her husband is and Khushi quickly came out wearing a green saree.

As soon as Arnav heard Khushi, he turned around to taunt her for taking so long but his breathing stopped when he saw her. She was looking extremely hot in her green saree. Her bare waist, her backless top, and the simple makeup were complimenting her natural beauty. But her hair was tied up. He preferred her loose hair.

Arnav always knew Khushi looks good in green. But today it was too hot to handle even for him. His heart was telling him to skip the party and make love to her until they both run out of energy but he knew he had to control his feelings not because of the party or the family, but for Khushi's sake.

Arnav looked at Khushi and walked towards her. As usual for every step he took towards her, she took one step back until she hit the dressing table.

"Khushi, I think you have forgotten what I have asked you. I think I might have to punish you so that next time when you take a step back you'll remember what's going to happen" said Arnav in his husky voice.

"Ar..n..av Ji, wh....at ar...e you..... doing?"

Without answering her, Arnav closed the gap between them and without even giving Khushi a chance to react, kissed her.

Khushi didn't know how to react. This is so unexpected but she loved what she was getting and didn't want it to end. But even before she started responding he ended the kiss.

Arnav saw the disappointment and anger on Khushi's face. While chuckling he whispered,

"This is what happens when you don't listen to me. Now come let's go and attend the party"

Then without a warning, he removed her hair clip making her hair fall over her shoulders.

"Now, it's perfect," said Arnav pecking her left ear.

'How dare he" thought Khushi but she couldn't do anything other than follow him.

They organized a surprise dance party for Manu and Sirish. Only family and close friends were invited.

Anjali prepared a speech for the couple, Payal and Khushi prepared a dance, Akash also prepared a speech, and Devi prepared an Indian classical dance. Arnav as usual said a straight no for any of these and only promised to attend the party if everyone promise not to nag him.

After Anjali and Akash's speeches, the atmosphere became emotional, and to lighten up the mode Devi performed the dance she prepared.

"Khushi, I am sorry, but I think I am having a tummy bug. I don't think I can perform. Because the medicine I took is making me dizzy and sleepy"

Payal was not feeling well and even after a number of buts and ifs, Khushi realized it was not best to force Payal because she was genuinely sick.

"I am sorry everyone, my sister and I were planning to do a duet but she is not feeling well and will not be able to perform. Therefore, we will have to cancel this dance number"
