It have been two months since that incident and things being pretty calm and smooth since then.

Taehyung had done anything he could in order to save her from the post truama and helped her move on, he was successful. She has been pretty relaxed and calmed, not even thinking about any of the events, and spending her life happily with taehyung. She had also visited her parents, both of their parents are unaware of the incident and they decided to keep it that way to not make them worry. It's all in the past.

Over the past few days, Taehyung had become deeply immersed in his work, significantly ignoring their quality time together.

She observed his intense focus on work, noticing how he could barely spare five minutes during breakfast without being engrossed in his phone. While he never forgot to hug her and plant a gentle kiss on her forehead before departing, their meaningful conversations had vanished.

The cherished moments where they used to lose themselves in heartfelt talks over breakfast now seemed like a distant memory.

He started arriving home late, often after midnight, finding her already asleep from waiting. The absence of their customary goodnight kiss left a void in their routine.

Additionally, he began working on weekends, a change that deeply pained Y/N.

She, being habitual to his unwavering attention and care, now facing this side of him, couldn't help but to ask herself whether he started loosing interest in her now. She thinks that after their high school they have been apart for almost a decade so maybe his love isn't much intense than it would have been if they had never separated their path.

Frustrated and conflicted, she couldn't help but question herself.

The confession. Was it all that he needed. Now he don't treat me like before. He is distant. He said he loves me. Then it won't be possible to fall out of love. Righ?

She couldn't help but doubt her own thoughts.

CAR RIDE

They were both in the car, heading to a party for his company's celebration of a new project. This project had kept him busy with work, causing a rift between them.

He realized the distance that had grown between them and felt guilty for letting work come between them. By the time he acknowledged it, Y/N was already upset and giving him the silent treatment.

He had sincerely apologized multiple times, but she remained silent. He knew he had to be patient and understood her anger was justified, but he couldn't shake off the anxiety of her being close yet distant.

Today, when he complimented her, she didn't respond and walked past him, leaving him a bit heartbroken.
