I pulled out my phone to call Renata. "Hey cous, you going to the salon today? I got some new furniture and they need to be signed." "I gotchu, i'm heading there anyways because we fully booked and the employees claim they need some extra hands so" "Thanks, bye"
I picked up the letter and opened it. I read it and took a deep breath. My mother is being released next week and I don't know how to feel or what to say to her if I bump into her one day. I want to know the reasons why and where my father is because I need a talk with him too. I want to reopen the past because even though a lot of trauma has came with it, i'm still clueless as to why it all had to happen.
"Dada?" JJ tapped my leg "He's still sleeping" "Mel?" "You want to see Mel?"
He nodded. "Ok i'll see if she's with Aunty Kaliah cause then we can just go there" He smiled and continued to run around.

I texted Liah and she responded that we can come over. Me and JJ were already ready so we could leave whatever time we wanted.
"Come here lil man" I reached my arms out and picked him up. We went upstairs into my bedroom.
"Kiron" I shook him. "Get up it's 12" "So? Ion got anywhere to go" he groaned. "Dada up!" JJ got out of my hold and sat on his dad's head and pulled his hair.
"You better stop pulling my hair before I whoop yo ass" he muttered and Jamarni started hyperventilating.
"No whoop da" he pouted and got off Rey. "We going to Kaliah's" I told him as I pulled the blanket off him.
"Ok" he pulled the blanket back. "Why y'all gotta wake me up though" he sat up and cuddled Jamarni. "Wassup son" he tickled him.
"Look" I passed him the letter and he read it then furrowed his brows. "She'on know where we at" he shrugged.
"I want to see her" he kissed his teeth and put JJ beside him then stood up.
"What kind of fuckery?" He mean mugged me. "Don't swear infront of JJ" I slapped his arm. "He don't even know what it means" he shrugged then walked into the bathroom to brush his teeth.
I followed him into the bathroom and waited for him to finish brushing his teeth. "I have questions I want to ask her and I want to know where my father at."
