"Cause it was a one time thing and it's never happening again" he shrugged.
He looked over to see Zai on her phone not paying attention.

"I heard you got a babymama now, is that why?"
"Nunya. Fuck outta here" Rey waved her off and started walking to the car but she grabbed his forearm. Zai winded down the window and tuned into their conversation.

"Wait. Please" she started tearing up and Rey fully faced her. "I was pregnant with your baby but I had a miscarriage"

Rey held a straight face. "I used a rubber"
"Not 100% effective. Anyways I see your girl waiting for you in the car, I just wanted to let you know. I found out I was pregnant a month later."
Rey nodded slowly.

"Condolences for your- our loss" he told her and went inside the car.

"So she's the girl you cheated on me wit'" Zai said immediately when Rey sat in the car.
"Yea.." he trailed off and started the car up. Zai slapped him hard on the cheek.
"AND YOU GOT HER PREGNANT?"

"By accident yes" he started driving to the apartment avoiding eye contact.
"I'm so sick of you" Zai put her hand out to his face."Your ass lucky she miscarried because I would've took this baby and found a step daddy" she mugged him.

"Over my dead body." He muttered.
"As much as I don't like her, she's pretty" she looked back as if she could see her.
Rey side eyed her then pulled up to the apartment. He found it unusual how calm she was.

He helped her out the car and they went into the apartment.
"These hormones be messing up my mood" she waddled to the kitchen.

"My son don't take shit from nobody!" Rey laughed.
"Zai I got a date planned this weekend, it's a surprise"
"You know I don't like surprises" she frowned as she ate her grapes with cheese.

"Suck it up buttercup" he waved her off.
"How about you come suck this pussy" she muttered to herself but he heard her.
"Damn for free?"
Zai looked taken back and Rey laughed at her.

Right now i'm on the way to see Wop since he keep getting his ass thrown in solitary like he some psychopath or some shit. Boss sent me to go warn him and check on him since he ain't wanna leave sis on her own being pregnant and all. The penitentiary was a 3 hour drive away.

They searched me thoroughly and told me the rules before they let me talk to him through the phone booth. He was sitting on the other side of the glass with a bruised eye.

"Watchu got that for" I nodded towards his eye.
"Because I ain't taking no bullying. These niggas out here trynna fuck with me cause I'm new and shit and the guards don't do nun but throw me in solitary." he frowned.

"You need to fight back and show them niggas yeen someone to play wit!"
"I do but it's 6 on 1 bruh. Anyways how's y'all"
"We good out here, same ole. Boss got a message for you though"
Wop swallowed and lifted his chin in a gesture telling Eli to continue.

"You wanna know why those niggas fucking with you? Cause you trynna put Zai behind bars. Don't think Rey wouldn't find out cuh."

"Because why the fuck y'all lying to her fo, talm bout I want to go prison for her. It was either that or death Eli. Boss forced me to take fault, I gotta life I ain't-"

"You better shut the fuck up before I send them niggas to your cell again. Don't fuck this up Wyatt. You signed up for the streets and just cause you locked up don't mean you out." I warned him.

I looked off to the side. "Aight. Now look. The way they sentenced you was unfair because they barely had any evidence that you did it. We're trynna get you out forreal, but if you keep trying to find a way to pin the case on Zai, your dying in here." I told him sternly and he huffed.
