"Why did you want to leave all of a sudden" Zai said as she took her shoes off. Rey shrugged and walked to the bedroom and started to take off his clothes to take a shower.

"Don't ignore me because I know your mama didn't give birth to a deaf baby, she should've knocked some sense into yo shit" she grabbed the shirt he just took off out of his hands and then he towered over her.

"Because I didn't want to stay simple" he spoke without looking at her then walked to the bathroom to avoid the conversation. He didn't feel like talking to her after the conversation he just heard.

"Whatever" she plopped down on the bed and scrolled on her phone. "All of a sudden wanna be catching an attitude as if your the pregnant one" she muttered to her self.

She got up and took a shower in another room once she realised he was taking way to long in there. She got dressed and returned to the bedroom to see that he wasn't there so she checked the balcony to see him smoking staring off into the distance. "You good?"
"I'm coo"
She nodded as if he could see her and went to the kitchen to grab a snack.

She picked up the grapes and disconnected them from the stems and sliced up small chunks of cheese and put everything on a plate before sitting on the couch watching Rey smoke.

She was contemplating whether to push him or leave him but considering what happened today she decided to give him space. His homie is going to prison because his baby mama got kidnapped and killed her ex, it's a lot to take in and Zai understood that.

After watching a few tiktoks and eating her snack, she washed the plate and headed to bed.

Rey came in 15 minutes after and stared at her before joining in next to her. Really, he was mad at the Wop situation but also mad at Zaijah for even bringing up sleeping with another nigga. She's free to do what she wanted but of course no man wants their girl to be in bed with another nigga, especially when she is carrying their baby.

The next morning

Rey woke up before Zaijah and headed to the trap, he left her a text to let her know.
Zai woke up groggily, the baby kept moving and it made sleeping harder. So far she hasn't felt him kick yet, he's very active though.

"See this is what I'm talking about" she groaned. "Leaving early in the morning to avoid me? Petty"

"Good morning my baby, you hungry? What you feeling?" She spoke while rubbing her bump.
"Cucumber and milk? Nah if daddy saw mummy eating that he would take it away. Hmmm" she thought for a bit.

"But he ain't here though. So we can eat it" she smiled to herself and brushed her teeth before heading to the kitchen and poured a glass of milk and drank it while eating sticks of cucumber. After she ate she took a shower and text Rey.

Rey arrived at the apartment and gave Zai a kiss on the lips as he handed her the food.
"Yo ass getting fatter" he blurted out as he walked behind her.
"Word? Damn" she turned to look and he laughed at her.

She ate while he changed into more comfortable clothes and then he joined her in the living room. He put his arm around her waist and scrolled on instagram as she ate and watched netflix.

She finished eating and put her stuff in the trash before returning to Rey.
"Kiron"
He side eyed her and raised a brow before locking his phone and looking at her.

"Hm?"
"I've been thinking about us..." she sighed and looked him for a reaction but there wasn't one.
"About what?"

"I don't want our son to come into this world with parents who have relationship issues. Even though you fucked up, somehow I still love you and I want this to work. Fuck if it's toxic as long as I'm with you I don't care" she scanned his eyes and he smiled to himself.

He pulled her on to his lap. "I appreciate you giving me another chance."
"You better, because this is the last one your getting regardless." She pecked his lips. "And i'm not playing with you" she pinched his cheek hard as he dragged his head away.

"Nawl you a different type of crazy" he kissed his teeth and rubbed his cheek.
"But you love me" she shrugged.
"Sholl do" he kissed her sliding his tongue into her mouth. She sucked on his bottom lip and they broke the kiss. "You ain't gon cheat back on me though?"
Zai raised her eyebrows in surprise.

"No" she scrunched up her face and he studied her for a bit before nodding.

2 months later

"Neils back" Eli blew smoke out his mouth. Kal, Eli and Rey sat in the trap office
"That nigga went to ground and came back thinking he was safe!" They chuckled.
"Shii to think that nigga was smart" Rey threw his head back laughing while slapping his thigh.

Eli connected his phone to the speaker putting on love sosa by chief keef

They sang the lyrics and vibed while Eli passed around the blunt.
"THESE BITCHES LOVE SOSA" Kal shouted putting his hands up.

They listened to a few songs before there was a knock at the door. Rey turned down the music and Eli opened the door.
"Fuck you looking at?" Eli scrunched up his face.
"You nigga"
Eli fanned his nose, "yo breath kicking"

"Why you gotta violate fo cuh, wit yo STI cutip" Red mugged him and walked into the office.
Eli frowned and sat down. "I ain't got no STI and my dick sure ain't tiny" he muttered to himself.

"Boss man" he dapped up Rey. "Neils about, I can take care of him since you got lil mama at home"
"I wanted to kill him myself but with lil ma at home and I can't do shit right now so I preciate it"
"Aight imma take care of it" he gave everyone a nod a left the room.

"Speaking of lil ma I should prolly head back. I'll hit y'all up" Rey said dapping up Eli & Kal then making his way to the apartment.

Their relationship has been good so far since they got back together, Rey has been taking Zai on dates, taking care of her and staying home whenever she needed him to. The only times he'd leave the house without her is to go visit wop or go to the trap like usual but instead he wouldn't spend all day there.

"Mama Cynthia said there is a family barbecue tomorrow and we should come"
"Yea she tol' me. We finna go" he walked over and picked up the plate of lasagna that Zaijah made.
"My bump is so big now" she rubbed her bump while sipping on lemonade.

"Makes you look sexier" he bit down on his bottom lip which made Zai blush and hide her face. "C'mere" he motioned for her to come over and when she did he slapped her bum hard.
"Ow! What's wrong withcu!?"
He laughed hysterically before eating.

"Yea that's right kick him" She put her belly on his back as she felt her son kick for the first time.
"He kicking?" Rey turned around and placed a hand on her stomach.
"Isn't that what I just said" she straight faced him.
"Don't get smart because I'll make you cry in that bedroom" he licked his lips and she rolled her eyes.

Rey's eyes widened when he felt his son kick. "Damn he kicking like he be fighting demons in there"
"Your so not funny, not too much on my son" Zai shook her head. "You thought of baby names? I have"
"Yeah, you go first tho"
