"I want a rundown of everything." Damien says. "How this started and all." He gulps down some coffee from the mug on his hand.
James slides a folder to him, Damien flips through it. "All we know is that he wants to take over, he wants revenge." Than he switches on the screen and a picture of Thalia comes on and a muscle on Alex's jaw clenched, Alex grips his hand and he blows out a breath. "This is who he had a spy, Thalia Hammet."
Damien looks visibly confused. "That's simply not possible."
"We realized that slightly too late." Drew says. "She managed to weave her way through saying that she's your sister."
"And we made a terrific mistake to trust her." James says. "We don't know who she is exactly, we don't know if whatever she said is true."
"What about Connor's parents? They came once or twice down." Damien asks.
James shrugs. "We don't know anything about their plans neither."
Dylan's phone starts ringing and he gives everyone an apologetic smile and takes the call, he stands up to walk away but than his eyes flood with horror and just than the slides change.
The image on is too dark but Dylan is staring at it with pure shock, he's gripping the phone tightly, the image lightens up, I gasp shocked when I see Dylan's house.
"So Dylan, you have a pleasant family." Henry says sarcastically, James is quickly grabbing the laptop to do something about it but we all know there's nothing he can do. Soon we see Dylan's parents on screen, their both tied up against the chairs, his dad has a bruise on his left eye and his mom has cut on the top of her eye.
"Let them go, they are innocent!" Dylan hisses at the phone.
"You have a beautiful sister as well, she will make a great deal at the market." He laughs.
"I swear if you touch a finger on her, I will break you apart Henry." Dylan rages.
Damien is indeed on his feet and standing over James trying to find something."Well you can't do anything Dylan, remember that this is your fault." A gun is pointed at his dad and the shot rings through the video, his mom was screaming but than the gun is turned to her and another shot rings through the air, Dylan screams, such a raw noise that I find myself shutting my eyes and tears flow down my cheeks.
Another scream breaks through, Davina, the camera is than turned to her, she's gagged up and tied and there's blood on her face, Dylan tears up with rage. "Please just let her go, let her go Henry." He begs and Damien looks up at me from behind James and shakes his head.
"I think it's time you backed away Dylan, next time your sister's head goes, for now, she's staying here, probably damaged." And than the call cuts, Dylan's phone falls from his hand as he stares at the screen and than his gaze snaps to Liam, he strides towards him, Liam stands up and before he can do anything Dylan is throwing him at the wall.
"I swear to God, I will kill you and your family, I will burn you!" He roars, everything happened so quickly from how Damien pulls Dylan back and Dyl swings his fist but Damien manages to block as James grasps Dylan's arm and twists it but than he quickly lets go and Dylan falls down to his knees and I can see his shoulders shaking, I'm out of my seat and beside him in a second. "He killed them." He whispered in tears.
I bring my hand up to his cheek and he drops his head to my shoulder as silent sobs break out of him, the others take this as their lead to walk away, Damien gives me a worrying look, I nod at him and he walks away.
"Dylan listen to me." I say quietly, I brush my hand up and down up his back. "You can't break, you can't fall apart now, Davina needs you, you have to go back home and get her Dyl."
That seemed to have gotten him to his senses because he quickly pulled back and stood up, he brushes away his tears and strides out of the room. "I have to go now, she could be alone or God knows how she is." He says panicking.
"I have a private jet ready at the airport." Damien says coming in front of him. "You can take someone with you or you can go alone, you can come back here and you will have all my support and help." Dylan hugs Damien and Damien's eyes widen with shock but before he can return the hug, Dylan is pulling back and already running out.
I walk to Damien and he embraces me in a hug and drops a kiss on my head. "You were close to them as well, I nod and just bury my head against his chest. "We will make him pay, I promise."

Dylan's POV
I only reached home at noon the next day, my head hurt but I didn't care as I push open the doors to my home, there's blood on the walls and I nearly throw up. "D, where are you?" I yell for Davina, I run to the living room and stop dead on my tracks when I see my parents.
I shake it off and than run back upstairs, the blood follows with me, I open Davina's room first and it's empty, I open my parents room and it's empty as well besides the blood, I open my room and the first thing that catches my sight in the blood on the bed and on the nightstand. "Davina, it's me, come on, where are you?" My voice cracks but than I hear a thud from inside the cupboard, I'm rushing to it and opening it.
Davina cries softly and she hugs her knees to her chest. "I don't know if it's really you." She says crying softly and my heart breaks.
I think on it as I hold out my arms for her. "You have that crush on a boy that works at that bookstore and I always tease you about it." She sobs loud as she throws her arms around me crying harder. "It's fine, you're safe, I got you."
"Everything hurts." She cries against my shoulder. "The men that came here Dyl, they killed mom and dad and-" she tightens her hold on me. "They brought me here, I tried to fight them, just like you thought me Dyl." My heart stops and my gaze drifts to the bed. "They hurt me Dyl and everything hurts."
Her cries are muffled against my shirt, my heartbeat is loud enough to drum against my ear and I nothing else matters in this moment besides my sister, I take off my jacket and I throw over her, I kiss her forehead. "You were brave Davina, you were so brave and strong and I promise you, the men who did this will pay for it." I carry her up, making sure the jacket obscures everything else as I make my way down to the car, I place her on the back seat and as I move to step back she grabs my hand. "I'll be quick, I promise." She looks hesitant but she nods and drops my hand.
I run back inside to the kitchen, I open the drawers searching for a matchbox and than I run to the garage and as expected there's a gasoline bottle, I grab it and start pouring it over the couch, on the curtains and on my parents, I close their eyes and drop a kiss on their forehead letting my tears wet their cheeks before I pull back and continue pouring, at the end I light the match and drop it before I run back to the car, I start it and I'm instantly driving away.
I don't look back to see the house burn but I feel it burn deep inside me, I look back to Davina and she has her knees pulled up to her chest and she stares out the window.
"We'll be staying at a friend's house for a little while." I tell her and she nods absentminded, I turn my attention back on the road.
He will pay.
