After You Left

Chapter 6

I felt the anger coursing through my veins, boiling my blood, my face was kept neutral, memories rushed through my head, everything we had and did together, everything was a lie.

His face was a mixture of confusion and shock and guilt, his ocean blue eyes stay on mine.

"I didn't know you'd be in tonight boss." Dylan says with a nervous chuckle, Liam snaps out of his shock and looks at Dylan who kept a hand on my lower back.

"Had a change of plans." Liam says in his iconic bored tone.

"This is Lea Davis, a friend of mine." Dylan says.

"Boss can we keep her, she looks tasty." Someone in the crowd says, Dylan pulls me closer to him and snakes his arm around my waist.

"She would make a great company in bed."

"Imagine sharing that piece."

I keep my gaze on Liam. "So Liam tell them if you plan on letting them use me, I'm sure the crowd wants to know." I say.

The crowd goes deadly quiet again, everyone stares at Liam and I, I pull away from Dylan who was in just as much shock as the others.
"Princess what are you doing?" Dylan whisper yells, Liam's gaze snaps to Dylan.

"She said don't call her that!" Liam says angry and annoyed.

"But if her father is the king, doesn't that make her the princess, well queen soon, but princess for now!" Damien says with his stupid smirk.

"I want everyone out now, if I find out that any of this goes out to someone else than you will all die." Liam says angry, the crowd start to panic but leave, Dylan stays next to me.

"I thought you were done with this whole gang stuff." I say.

"I was done with the Ravens, I wanted something else for myself." Liam says annoyed. "And besides what are you doing here, it's dangerous." He glares at Dylan who is still very confused.

"You're forgetting who you're talking to Liam, I'm no longer the naive girl you used." I say clenching my fists.

"I apologized for that, I told you that I had no choice." Liam snaps.

"You're an ignorant asshole who was too afraid to say anything, to speak the truth, you broke me and just left me alone." I say angry, Liam took a couple steps towards me and I stood my ground.

"If I hadn't than you wouldn't have met him." Liam says sarcastically, tears threatened to rush down my cheeks but I held them back.

"If you hadn't introduced me than I would have been living the life that I wanted and he would have been alive." I say.

"What life Lea, the life where your parents didn't love you like their own daughter and where everyone at school bullied you and where you used to starve yourself and wanted to end your life, that's the life that you want to be living!" Liam says frustrated, my heart feels like it has been shattered by a hammer, it was already broken but I felt it shatter more.

I turn to Dylan who's face was covered in confusion and worry. "Take me home." I say, he nods, I follow next to him as we leave the building.

"I really am sorry about Damien raspberry and everything I did." He says calmly, I ignore it and carry on walking.

Dylan's POV

I watch as she stares out the window at the starless night sky, she hasn't said anything since we left, her knees pulled tightly against her chest, a broken soul.

I don't know what made me do it but I took her to my home, the moment I parked the car panic flashes across her face.

"I asked to go home, I need to go home." She says panicking.

"There's no way I'm letting you stay on your own after what just happened, you're spending the night here, I'll take you home in the morning, being home alone is the last thing you should be doing." I say rolling my eyes and get out of the car, I walk to her side and open the door.

"I just want to go home, I need to go home." She says panicking, I notice her fidgeting with her shirt. "Please, I need to see or feel anything at home." She says and a sob breaks through her throat.

I lean down and tilt her face to look at me, tears streaked down her cheeks. "I promise that I won't hurt you alright, I also don't think it's safe for you to be on your own, it's just the night and tomorrow bright and early I'll take you back home." I say gently, she tries getting out of the car but I quickly swift her off her feet and into my arms.

Her whole body tensed up. "Relax princess, you fainted and had a rough night, sleep." I say.

The door was already open and our butler did a small bow as I entered, Lea had tucked her head in my chest and every time she breathed out my whole body filled with shivers.

"Dylan I thought you said you wouldn't have been back for another 4 hours." My mom's voice echoes from the kitchen and I hear her footsteps coming closer, the moment she sees me her face fills with confusion and guilt.

I mouth a I'll be back before going up the stairs, her breathing has slowed down, when I look down at her I see her sleeping, I smile without realizing it, I reach my room and manage to open the door without waking her up.

I slowly place her down on the bed and pull the covers to tuck her in, I take off her shoes and place them next to the bed, I look at her one last time before closing the door and leaving the room, I'll have to bring up some food for later.

When I get to the kitchen I see my mom already on the stool, a glass of milk and cookies beside her, I sit down next on the stool next to her.

"What is happening Dylan?" Mom asks worried, I sigh and dunk a cookie in milk.

"You know those group of people I got involved with a couple months ago." My mom nods. "She knows the guy who helped me, the guy who's in charge."

"She knows the guy whom everyone knows as the boss?" Mom asks confused.

"Yes and like not the friends type of know, the hatred and anger that came out of her tonight was scary, she literally looked like she was going to stab his heart out." I say.

"Have you asked her anything about it?" Mom asks.

"Not yet, I plan on asking her later on when she wakes up, a Damien was mention during their talking." I say  with a shrug.

"Do you know anything about her?" Mom asks.

"Besides that she can kick anyone's ass, she's the one who punched me." I say.

Mom gasps and bursts out laughing. "She's the one who punched you." Mom says in between laughter, I rolled my eyes and finish my cookies and milk.

"Get some sleep mom." I kiss the top of her head before leaving.

"I love you." Mom says smiling.

"Love you too."
