After You Left

Chapter 2

I replay the video again, I have actually lost track of how many times I played all the tapes, our wedding tapes, the ones we took when we went to the town.

"Oh come on pumpkin, please wear it, you'll look so cute." I say excitedly.

"This is a Mickey mouse hat princess, I'm a gang leader." Damien says rolls his eyes, you can't see my face because I'm the one holding the camera.

"Pretty please with apple pie." Damien's cheeks flush with colour and he wears the hat, I cheer loudly, he smirks and pulls me to him, he smiles at the camera and tilts it so it's facing both of us and he connects our lips.

The camera had somehow gotten to his hand and he kept it facing us as I gripped his shirt.
And the clip ends, tears were rolling down my cheeks.

I play another one but before I could start it my phone pings again, I guess more comments to reply to, I stare at the laptop sitting on the bed but sigh and grab my phone.

I start replying to as many as I can, just as I was about to take a break from it, one catches my eye.

"I don't see the reason for this, the book wasn't that great, clearly the whole story was made up and clearly the 2 characters didn't love each other." D.H

I feel my anger boiling, I know for sure that it's him and I chug my phone on my bed.

A walk princess, a relaxing walk outside.

I stare out the window at the starless night, the night is still very young so the streets would still be buzzing.

Dylan's POV

"What happened to your face?" My mom asks panicking, I groan.

"It's nothing mum, I ran into a door." I say and press the ice pack to my cheek again.

"The girl punched him." Davina says giggling, I glare at her and she scurries behind mom, who looked very confused and shocked.

"What did you do for her to punch you Dylan?" Mom asks disappointed, I roll my eyes playfully.

"I just wanted her surname and name and she didn't want to give me than she punched me and ran away but I bought her book and found her social media account and I have a plan in mind." I say proudly.

"Dylan leave the girl alone, you're supposed to be in college and getting a girlfriend and acting out, not stalk someone who punched you." Mom says with a sigh.

"She punched me, she's not getting away with that so easily." I say grinning.

"What is my family talking about at this time of the night?" Dad asks as he hugs mom from behind. "And what happened to your face Dylan?"

"I ran into a door." I say with a sigh.

"A girl punched him." Mom says smirking, dad bursts out laughing.

"I wonder what you did to get punched." Dad says in between laughter, mom and Davina are both giggling.

"I am determined to make her regret that." I say smiling.

"Are you going to be inviting her to your birthday party?" Mom asks smiling.

"I'll find a way, the party is in 14 days and after that I'll be back on the road." I say thinking. "I'll get her to come, I'm positive."

"Alright son, if you think you can do it than I don't see why we should stop you but given the fact that she punched you than I would say she is not like other girls." Dad says.

"I'll figure it out." I say determined.

I head back to my room, the book was on my bed just there, as if I would read a book, I open my phone and send in another tweet, I yawn and lay down on my bed and let sleep take over.

Lea's POV

I lay back in the bench and let myself relax, I snuggle in deeper in his hoodie trying to get more of him but I don't, I dig deep in my brain for just more of him and I am met with more memories.

"There's so many things that could go wrong tomorrow." I say panicking and pace across the room.

"Princess, we've been over the plan 1000 times this week, everything will go according to plan." Damien says confidently, he pulls me into his chest and tilts my face to look at him. "Breathe princess."

"It's just that this gang gala has been this huge part of our plan since forever and anything can go wrong and what if it does and-" Damien cuts me off with a small kiss.

"Breathe and relax." Damien says and connects our lips again in another short kiss and another, he carries on doing that and leaving me breathless.

I pull back and glare at him. "Stop teasing pumpkin." I say breathless, Damien smirks and pulls me back against him, his thumb grazes my lips, my body ignites in flames.

"Sometimes I really do wish I hadn't made that whole waiting for wedding night to explore you fully deal." Damien says leaning down, he grazes his lips against mine.

My hands instinctively fist his shirt in my hand, he kissed me again shortly and pulled back with a sigh.
"I feel as if I'm thirsty and you're my water but I can't get enough of you." Damien says.

I pull him down and connect our lips, Damien gasps in shock but instantly catches up, his hands goes up to cup my face, than he breaks the kiss but keeps his forehead against mine, our breaths mixing together, both of us are panting.

"I was drowning and you saved me, you're the boat that rescued me before I drowned and I am worried that one day you'll no longer be there and I will be drowning and no one will be there to save me." I say letting a few tears roll down.

"Princess you're stronger than you think and if I ever leave you which will never happen than you'll build your own boat." Damien says and gives me short kisses that leaves me panting.

Than he pulls away, his face was flushed and I giggled causing his face to turn a deep pink.
"You're adorable when you blush pumpkin." I say and kiss his nose.

"Stop that princess." Damien says smiling but his face just keeps on turning different shades of pink and red causing me to burst out laughing.

I take huge breaths of air as my mind returns back to reality, I look around and notice that the park is empty so I sigh, I head down to the town square to get a coffee because everything is still open.

"Lea." I stop dead in my tracks.

Hope everyone is doing well.

How was the chapter?

The book will hopefully start getting more fun soon and it will get its flow soon too but anyways I hope you guys are enjoying it.

Technically when I started Ever Since I Met You, I literally had no idea it would have become what it became, like at all, Damien wasn't supposed to exist, it was supposed to have been just Liam and technically neither one of the other characters that are related to Damien were supposed to exist neither.

So hopefully this book will go by in peace.
