The blinding lights were the first thing that struck me, panic was the second, a hospital, what was I doing here, my heart starts beating faster and breathing became difficult.

"Breathe Lea, breathe." Olive green eyes stare into mine. "Breathe." He says calmly, I stare at Dylan confused, he pulls back and the doctor comes in the room.
My brain was way too fogged up to pay attention to whatever the doctor was saying, my head kept replaying last night, I think it was last night.

"You should be free to go soon and I advised Mr. Hamilton to stay close to you at all times." The doctor says before leaving.

Dylan sits on the chair by the bed, his eyes look exhausted and are filled with concern.

"Why'd you do it, why didn't you just tell me your story instead of letting me just push you?" Dylan asks gently, I don't know how to answer, I don't even know what I want. "Oh gosh, how everything made sense after I read the book, I'm so sorry for making you go through all these stuff this past couple days, the nickname princess, I'm sorry Lea."

I let out a sob. "I don't know what to do anymore, I just want to be with him, he was supposed to have been here, we had plans, it hurts so much." I say as I sob, I feel him rubbing my back softly.

"Doctor said you need more rest, try to get some sleep." He says softly, I lay back down and he pulls the covers up.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" I ask feeling the sleep take over me.

"Because I was in a dark place once but I had my family who helped me out, you don't deserve to be in this dark place, you deserve to be roaming the world and being free." That was the last thing I heard before I slept.

Dylan's POV

I couldn't leave her side, I couldn't wrap my head around this whole thing, my thoughts were swirling, she slept soundly on the hospital bed, sometimes twisting and frowning.

My phone starts ringing and I go outside to answer it, I frown at the name, why am I getting called at this time.

"Is she still with you?" Liam asks from the other side, I felt rage towards him, felt it because he hurt her.

"Yes she is still with me." I say shortly.

"I need to speak with her, put her through." He demands.

"Sorry boss, that won't be possible now." I say.

"Look I don't know what shit you've been taking but when I give you an order I expect you to do it." Liam snaps angry.

I clench my jaw and my fists. "I have to go." I say and cut the call, I look inside the room and see that she's still sleeping so I take the opportunity to go down to the cafe and get more coffee.

10 minutes later I have my coffee and am already heading back to the room when I see the doctor sighing in relief when he sees me, worry and panic flood me once more.

"Mr. Hamilton, I was just on my way to see you, Mrs. Lea's reports came, in addition to the pills she took, she's really underweight, and I mean really underweight, if you don't mind me asking, has she been through some traumatic event in the past that could have lead to this?" The doctor asks kindly.

Her whole book flashes before my eyes. "Her husband passed away 2 years ago on their wedding night." The doctor frowns and concerns drowns his eyes.

"The best way to deal with trauma is to talk to someone, maybe you should try a therapist, until than she is free to go, remember to keep a close eye on her at all times, trauma can do some nasty stuff to people." I nod at the doctor before signing the discharge papers, he hands me a small card with the therapist's number.

He hands me the bag with Lea's clothes before leaving with a small nod.
I enter the room and find her already awake, her eyes distant as she stares at the clouded sky outside, I clear my throat and she slightly jumps startled.

"You're free to go home, or in your case my place." I say smiling, I hand her the bag of her clothes and she gives me a small nod, I turn around as she changes.

"I'll need a new pair of clothes." She says frowning at her clothes, I chuckle.

"We can either stop by the shop or your house." I say and hook my arm through hers as I lead her out of the hospital, her grip on my arm tightens with every step around the hospital, but the moment we get out she sighs in relief.

"Why can't I just stay at my place?" She asks when she gets in the car.

"Doctor's call, he says I need to keep an eye on you." I say grinning, she glares.

"Why not just stay at my place?" She asks.

"Because I don't think you should be staying in a place full of sadness." I say. "Home or shop?"

"Home." She says reluctantly, I nod and start driving, I keep glancing at her every few seconds, her knuckles are white from gripping the seatbelt tightly, I slow down slightly.

Lea's POV

With every second closer to my apartment my heart beats faster and faster, I couldn't breathe even after I opened the window.

"You alright?" Dylan asks.

"I don't want to go home." I say anxiously. "Not now."

"Yeah sure, I can come later on and get some stuff of yours." Dylan says calmly, I nod and sink down on the chair.

"I don't want to trouble you or your family, I'll be a burden and I don't think it would be right for me to stay at your home." I say with a sigh, Dylan laughs.

"Trust me when I say that my family will be delighted to see you." Dylan says.

"Thank you, for doing all this." I say.

"It's what friends do." Dylan says smiling, I roll my eyes and stare out the window, it definitely looks like a storm is coming tonight.

"What are you doing?" I ask confused, Damien extends his hand and I take it, the music fills the background, he puts a hand on my waist and the other holds mine, my other hand rests on his shoulder.

The music is soft, the lyrics falling every inch of me, my heart beats faster as Damien spins me and brings me back and dips me, my body seems to have gone into automatic as it follows the movements with Damien, we don't take our eyes from each other, his stormy gray eyes filled with emotions, filled with love, the beat drops and more spins come, my heart leaping as I try to grasp more of this feeling.

"You good?" Dylan asks pulling me back to reality, I look around and realize that we've already arrived at his place.

"Sorry, got distracted." I say and get out of the car, he quickly gets out and hooks his arm through mine and I roll my eyes.

"My family can be quite strange and loud." Dylan says slightly nervous, I was about to ask him what he meant but than I heard squealing and giggling and running.
