"Oh my fluffing blueberries!" I exclaim shocked, Dylan laughs. "This whole place is so beautiful."
"You haven't even seen the whole thing." Dylan says with a smirk, I give him a confused smile and he holds his hand out for me. "Live." I take a deep breath and let my fingers interlace with his and sparks blow up all the way up my arm.
We stream across the small stalls selling cute souvenirs , there's antique lamps and antique everything basically, there were children dashing across the pavement laughing and giggling, adults were just as happy as the children, their happy chattering and laughter filled the streets, they all had clothes that would have been worn in those times, I felt out of place with my clothes but my heart felt at home.
"This place does that to people, makes your heart beat faster, makesyour body rush up with adrenaline, makes you feel safe and at home." Dylan says with a broad smile, I threw my arms around him and hugged him tight, Dylan laughs and hugs me back.
"I want to see everything here." I say pulling back, Dylan gives me a smirk and interlaces our hands again as we walk from one street to another, the music starts getting louder and louder with every step, irish music.
We arrive at this sort of bar type of place where the music is coming from, the moment we walk through the doors and Dylan rings this weird small blue bell everyone turns around and starts cheering.
A lady who looked like she was in her late 40's approaches Dylan and squashes him in a heart warming hug, Dylan doesn't let go of my hand.
"Where have you been dear, we were expecting you here 2 days ago, we assumed something bad had happened or you had gone back to your crazy adventures." The lady says worried.
Dylan laughs as he drops a kiss on the top of her head, they could easily pass by as mother and son. "I apologize Mrs. Down, I had gotten slightly distracted." I feel the blood rush to my face as the lady turns to me with a broad smile.
"Seems like a worthy distraction." She says smiling and squeezes me in a hug.
"Are you here to play Dylan?" Someone amongst the crowd asks excitedly.
Dylan gave me a side look. "Well when have I ever come here and not played something." The crowd cheered louder and instantly set up the stage with a stool and a mic, than a beautiful guitar was brought to Dylan.
"Any suggestions?" Dylan asks excitedly.
"Galway girl by Ed Sheeran." A female's voice echoed across the bar, the crowd let out a loud cheer.
Dylan dropped a kiss on my head and walked towards the stage with his broad smile, the moment he sits on the stool the crowd goes dead silent and he starts.
He loses himself in the song and I would be lying if I said I wasn't mesmerized by it, his gaze stays on me and the world fades away leaving only him and I.
My heart beats faster and faster, he smiles again and my breath could have actually whooshed out of me.
When he finishes the bar goes crazy as they cheer and Dylan's cheeks flush with pink.
"Something slightly more upbeat." Someone asks.
"Begging by maneskin."
Dylan gave the crowd a smirk before starting, the crowd let out another loud cheer, he hit every note well, the crowd start clapping along with the beat and somehow the club gets more crowded and I find myself standing right at the front.
He finishes and the bar goes wild, Dylan hangs the guitar back up on the wall, the Irish music starts playing again and the dance starts.
I am taken in the mid of the dance and lead through it, I let myself follow their steps, from the other side Dylan was going through the same procedure in the dance as me, we make eye contact and we burst out laughing, we carry on dancing, the beats gets faster and faster and when it dropped Dylan and I met and he linked our hands as his other hand snaked around my waist and we carry on with the dance around the bar.
"Get on the table." Dylan says smiling, I give him a quizzical look, he rolls his eyes and gets on top of one and pulls me along with him, the tables had been joined to make another stage and now we were on it and we carry on as the crowd cheers for us, he twirls and turns me and dips me and not once do his steps faulter, I didn't know whether I was drunk on the music or him.
We were both laughing as they shone a light on us and we were moving through the beat in sync and as the song came closer to the end, Dylan did one final dip and the crowd starts clapping loudly.
"Thank you everyone." Dylan says happy and gets down from the table, before I can get down he picks me up by my waist and puts me down on the floor.
Than as the crowd starts another song Dylan takes my hand and leads me out the bar, the cold air against my hot skin that causes me to sigh in exhaustion.
The sky had gotten darker in the few minutes that we had been inside and it was drizzling very softly.
"As much as I would love to hang out here we can't because it's getting late and it looks like it's going to start raining." Dylan says smiling, I nod and we walk back to the car that seems a lot closer than we came. "Did you have fun?" Dylan asks nervously when we enter the car.
"I had a blast." I say smiling, my heart is still drumming in my chest.
"We'll probably be home alone tonight, mom messaged me and said that her and dad have a dinner date and Davina is staying over at Alex." Dylan says.
"Why didn't you tell me you play the guitar?" I ask confused.
Dylan chuckles. "We didn't really do the whole what's your hobbies talk and besides it's nothing."
We drive in a comfortable silence, my attention is on the dark gray sky, it starts raining heavy when we arrive at his place.
Dylan curses and reaches behind for something than curses some more. "We can run or you can wait for me to go get you an umbrella?"I chuckle and stare out the rain. "We run." Dylan laughs and nods. "Now!" We both get out of the car and start running, we were laughing, I stop in my tracks half way through the lawn, Dylan had already reached the house when he looks back and sees me standing there.
I laugh as I tilt my head up and let the rain wash over me, I hear his footsteps running back towards me.
"You're going to get sick Lea." Dylan says laughing and takes my hand and pulls me to start running with him, I pull him back and we clash into each other, his breath hitches before quickening and I have no doubt I'm panting as well.
I trace his cheek with my thumb and let my hand rest on his cheek, his one hand comes up to cup my cheek as well, he hesitantly leans his forehead and rests it on mine, our noses are touching and our whole bodies are flushed together.
"I'll catch if you fall, I promised." Dylan says smiling and I let myself smile as he leans in and connects our lips in a short kiss that leaves my whole body full of butterflies.
