I storm through our doors, Dylan falls in step shortly behind, Damien is quickly rushing over to me, he gently tilts my face as soon as he sees the bruise. He turns his gaze back to Dylan. "What happened?"

Dylan sighs. "Henry happened."

"This wouldn't have happened if you had just kept your cool." I snap and turn around to face Dylan. "You acted on impulse and snapped when I clearly told you not to."

Dylan scoffs. "Oh so now I have to take orders from you?" I glare at him. "If you hadn't bursted in between us, I would have killed that bastard." Dylan yells and I feel Damien taking a step beside me.

"And you ruined a big offering with your rage and impulse to kill him!" I exclaim.

"Enough, both of you!" Damien interrupts, than he looks to Dylan with calm rage. "What did you do and why is my wife bruised?"

Dylan sighs frustrated. "She got in between our fight and got hit."

"A fight you started don't forget that." I add annoyed, Dylan glares at me.

"He was talking bad about my family, what was I suppose to do?" Dylan grits out.

"Walked away because he did it on purpose, he wanted us to lose this deal and congratulations Dylan, you helped him." I express throwing my hands in the air in frustration.

Dylan doesn't say anything and a breath passes between us before Damien looks at Dylan. "Who hit her?"

Guilt flushes Dylan's features. "It was a mistake-"

"So you hit my wife and than proceed to blame her for your recklessness." Damien states.

"Quiet, all of you!" Drew's voice comes from behind us. "And to bed, all of you, you can continue this argument in the morning." Dylan sighs and walks past us.

"I'll go get you some ice." Damien says dropping a kiss on my head, I nod and make my way up the stairs where Drew ruffles my hair getting a chuckle out of me.

I had stripped out of the dress, washed off my makeup, undone my hair and worn a pair of shorts with one of Damien's shirts, exhaustion weighs deep in my bones, I'm deep and curled in the duvet.
The door opens and I peak over the duvet to see Damien walking in with a tray, I sit up as he sets the tray down that has a cup of hot tea with a few biscuits and cake.
"The ice pack." Damien says holding out the ice pack, I take from him and place it against my jaw, I wince at the sting that follows it.

I take the cup of tea with my other hand, sipping slowly, feeling sleep threatening to overwhelm me. The ice pack falls from my hand and I nearly spill all my tea, I do accidentally end up turning the tray upside down making a mess of everything.

"Fuck, the ice pack fell and everything happened so fast." I ramble as I try to get everything back on the tray and the frustration mixes with exhaustion and I end up dropping my cup of tea, I scream angry as tears pool in my eyes and before I can reach to clean up Damien is pulling me back, away from the mess I just made.

"Just breathe, breathe princess." I realise I'm gasping for air as sobs break out of me, my hands cling to Damien. "Slow breaths princess." Damien instructs, I try to follow it, matching his breathing to mines. "That's it, slow breaths."
My tears kept running down my cheeks, my sobs were quiet but my body still shook.

"I'm so tired, I just want it to end." I sob as I pull myself closer to Damien's chest, he lets me curl up against him, his arms come around me and he holds me against him, running a hand up and down my back and he drops a kiss on the top of my head.
