"WE'RE NOT going to stay here for long, right Iza-san?" Akari clarified as she handed the spare helmet to Izana after the latter climbed down from his motorbike. "I still need to study for the exams, you know."
"No, we aren't. Don't worry," the tanned male reassured her and hung the helmet securely on the handlebar. Then, he held her hand as they sauntered their way into a large warehouse which was one of his gang's hideouts somewhere within the port area of Yokohama City.
Akari halted in her footsteps once they neared the entrance, causing Izana to also stop in his tracks and peered in her direction.
"What's wrong?"
The ravenette hung her head low and anxiously twirled a lock of her dark hair. "I-I'm just a little bit nervous that's all," she answered him frankly.
A look of confusion wrinkled his forehead as he turned his body to face her. "Huh? Why? You're only going to meet my gang. It's not like you haven't seen them before."
She tilted her head up again to look at him. "I can't help it. The last time I remembered, your gang only have at least 10 members. But now... you have like what? Hundreds? Can't we just save the introductions after the exams and go home for now?"
Izana was only giving her an impassive stare followed by a shake of his head. "No," he firmly stated. "You are MY queen, Akari. And that's one of the reasons why we are here. Everyone in my gang mustknow who you are. Haven't you agreed to come with me the other day?"
"Um, yes, I did. B-but--"
"No more second thoughts, Akari," he was quick to interrupt, not allowing her to finish her sentence. "My subordinates are not going to do anything to you because they'll know who they are up against if they tried to touch even a single strand of your hair. Trust me. It will be alright." He tightened his hold on her hand. "Now c'mon. Let's get in."
"N-no, wait! Iza-san! Hey!" Akari exclaimed in panic as Izana dragged her with him toward the building. She swallowed hard and instantly clung to his arm as soon as he swung the door open.
The entire warehouse was filled with loud noises the moment the pair stepped inside and were welcomed by dozens of gentlemen in their matching red uniforms.
Once the door was closed, the mood around the area radically changed. Everyone's eyes fell directly on Izana, watching his every movement from the swaying of his earrings down to the sound of his footsteps. His mere presence alone was screaming with absolute authority while emitting an intimidating aura at the same time that could make anyone weak to their knees.
Only for their attention to shift to the beautiful raven-haired girl walking alongside him and strongly clinging to his arm like a koala. All were obviously curious about the girl's identity and her relationship with their commander except for those who already knew her.
