THE SKYLINE in Yokohama City was ablaze with warm orange hues in contrast to its wintry climate. As soon as he was done with his errand, Izana marched his way into the rooftop of an establishment to meet up with one of his acquaintances and Tenjiku's General Staff Officer, Kisaki Tetta. He also dropped Akari off at his apartment for he thought it was the safest place for the girl to stay in the meantime until the fight with Toman was over.
Kisaki's back was facing him as the latter was sitting on the large water tank of a tall building, both hands in his pockets. He wasn't yet aware of the tanned male's presence as his mind was preoccupied with something else until Izana called out for his attention.
"Kisaki, I've covered you up with a substitute. Your name is clear."
That was when Kisaki started to open his mouth while he was staring into the setting sun that was basking over the rural's landscape. "I know Mikey the best. I am certain of that. You don't necessarily need brains to stand above everyone else. What you need is charisma. And for Mikey, his charm is the absolute medium to stand amongst others."
Izana was only listening quietly as Kisaki went on.
"The current Toman is a total waste to maximize his full potential. Therefore, I must fix this problem with my own hands."
"Hmph. That's so selfish of you," Izana remarked.
The younger male stood up. "I came up with a plot to instigate Draken's murder through Kiyomasa. However, someone happened to ruin my plan." He clenched his fist. "Your girlfriend's cousin, Hanagaki Takemichi."
"Oh, you didn't see him coming?"
Kisaki's face darkened with contempt. "Because of him, my plan to murder Draken was thwarted. So, I came up with another plan. I created Valhalla to put Mikey on top. But this time, Baji Keisuke destroyed it and I persuaded Hanemiya Kazutora into killing him."
Izana happened to hear of the news about a former captain of Toman who died at Bloody Halloween.
"I have to eradicate anyone who dares to stop me from achieving my goal." Kisaki stared menacingly at his calloused hand with gritted teeth. The same hand he used for the dirty work. "I've done everything in my power. But nothing is accomplished to my satisfaction. Mikey even expelled me for hurting his beloved friends." His body was quivering with unshakeable resolution. "That's right. To make him become what he's supposed to be, I'll definitely back him up."
"So, the final blow would be Sano Emma?" Izana stated in conclusion.
