THE POWDER-YELLOW CAR sped through the roads of Hawkins. Jayden felt herself calm as she drove into the parking lot of Starcourt.

They saw the large van that held all the kids, but Nancy stood in front of it. Jayden furrowed her eyebrow. before her eyes darted to the far too familiar blue Camaro charging at her. Robin had noticed it too.

"Go, Steve!" Robin yelled, pointing at the car. Steve didn't hesitate to slam his foot onto the gad and charge at the blue car, hitting it out of the way and spinning out.

Jayden got slammed against the hard door, a small crack being heard making her cry.

When the car stopped spinning Steve looked at the two girls, "are you guys okay?" He asked.

Robin shrugged. "Ask me tomorrow?" She joked.

Jayden looked up at her brother, her left arm being held close to her chest. "Pretty sure my arm's broken." She said.

Steves eyes widened and he went to say something but a loud roar interrupted him.

The three turned their eyes towards the large monster which revealed itself on-top of the mall. It mirrored the complexion of a spider, only, one thousand times larger.

A honk made their heads turn to the side to see the large family van pull up next to them. "Get in!" Nancy yelled as Vera swung open the back door.

Jayden stood up to get out, but was swooped off her legs by Steve and carried to the back of the cat where she was gently placed next to Robin.

"My arm is broken, not my leg." She reminded as Steve took his own seat and quickly shut the door.

"Oh, I know." He nodded as the car sped out of the parking lot.
