WAKE UP, SCHOOL, HOME, sleep, repeat. Again and again, over and over and over. Jayden just wanted one break but not even on weekends could she get that.

School was the root of almost all her problems at this point. Not all, but almost. And right now an old problem was coming back. A really bad one. One that Jayden would've never forgave herself for if she let this problem back in.

But that's the thing about problems, you can't let them in yourself. They just show up on their own and if you're the right fit for them, they stay. And apparently Jay was the right fit for a whole lot.

When Jayden turned the corner she saw the curly-haired brunette. The brunette she had hoped to never speak to or see again, but being in the same school really didn't help that hope. But that's not how these things work. The brunette tried to turn around and walk the other way, but she had already been seen.

"Jayden." She sighed and turned back around.

"Vera." Jayden greeted in return, pushing past her to get to the locker. She didn't say another word which made Veras face scrunch up in disgust.

"No, 'how are you'?" She asked, sounding hurt.

Jayden hummed as if she was thinking. "Uh... no.. no I don't think so." Jay shook her head from side-to-side. "No."

Vera rolled her eyes. "You think your so funny, but you only say stuff like that because this is the only time you get to talk back to someone." She insulted.

Jayden allowed her eyebrows to knit together. "What the hell do you need?" She asked. The brunette cleared her throat as Jayden closed the locker, turning to face her.

"Your mom asked my Mom to ask me for us to start being friends again." At those words Jaydens throat dried up.

She simply shook her head and began to walk away. Vera acted quickly and grabbed Jaydens wrist, preventing her from doing so.
