"She is a lying bitch, manipulative to no extent. Shanaya, you might not like what I am going to say next. We went to hotel for a couple of days, we were all alone, now tell me if I did anything that you didn't like, if I had forced myself on you, do you think you would still be talking to me like this, forget about living together and cooking for me?"

Shanaya felt like someone had thrown a bucket of ice chilled water on her the way he asked her question. He was right. There was no way she would ever look at him or talk to him, even if she could not harm him physically or emotionally, she would have severed all the ties. Then how come Betty...

"No." She whispered.

"Look, I am sorry, I didn't mean to but how can you trust someone so easily? She is lying to get sympathy from you guys so that you will support her. And I am sure that is what happening right now. She knows how to manipulate you two. If you ask me, she has already got someone more financially stable and better than him. She knows that he can only fulfill her needs not her desires. She was just using him and he didn't even realize that he was getting fucked up, she has got a new target now. That's why one should never spend too much on girlfriends!"

Last line made her smile when it should have hurt her. He is saying this!! He spent so much for visiting her already and he is planning to visit again, and he is the one who is saying this. She recalled how angry he had gotten when she wanted to give him the half the amount of the bill when they first had dined together. If not for her consistent refusal, he would have gifted her mobile long back. 

"Its not like that. They do some things in love." She said it with a smile.

"Doing something in love and asking someone to do something for sake of love, both are different things. I might want to do a lot of things for you on my own and you demanding me doing things without understanding my situation is completely different. That's not love." He answered softly, sensing her smile.

"Hmm. So, if I ask you to buy me something, won't you do it?" She teased him.

"We are not talking about ourselves. I was just giving you an example. But if I can, why won't I?"

"How will you know that I am not using you for my benefit?" Shanaya asked softly.

"For that you need brain and smartness, and you are lacking in both so, I am not worried at all."

"What?!! Are you calling me brainless? Dumb??"

"Chill my wild cat, I was talking about the manipulation. Your eyes are full of innocence, so I need not worry about that part."

"Really? So are you happy with me?" She smiled happily.

"Yeah.. I can manage for now." 

"What does that mean?"

"I could have been happier if only you could do some more actions with your lips and tongue you know... Like kissing and lick..."

"Sshhh!! Shut up!! What are you talking about? What if someone hears you?" Shanaya said mortified, her face red with blush.

"Okay, okay. You go and eat something. I also need to go."

"So soon? Why?"

"Did you forget you need to support someone?" Rudra teased.

"Shut up!!" She said laughing.

"I didn't eat anything. My mother will get worried. I came from office just now and called you."

"Oh!!" She was touched at his genuine confession. "Okay, have your dinner. Don't get your mother worried." She said softly.

And just like every other time, he had dissipated her anger, frustration everything, not only that he also made her laugh and feel lighter. Was it even possible to fall more and more in love with same person again and again? She didn't know.
