"But what if she is not there on returning?"

Bi*ch!! That was Prashishtha. She had brains? Who else was there in this? Was Natey also there? Will she also stoop that low? What now?

"Oh don't you worry babe! We will follow her right after exams. It's revenge, and chase will make it more fun. I only know what I have endured to see this day."

Nick said in a way that Shanaya wanted to vomit. Her heart sank. What will she do now? How will she escape this. She wanted to call Rudra but she didn't want them to know that she was scared beyond limit.

"Hey guys what are you discussing so seriously?"

Preston!! So he was not involved yet! Could it go worse than this? With his brains and manipulation, they will go to a new level!

"We are discussing how to make Shanaya's days beat ever. Afterall she has made our days so colorful and unforgettable." Nick chuckled.

"Hey hey hey did you forget what Jonathon said? You are an international student who is here on visa and government fund. So don't think of doing anything that will cost you years of hard work. " Preston cautioned.

"If not me then someone else will do it."

Shanaya could feel laughter in his voice, he was enjoying it too much. Suddenly she felt as if someone was looking at her intently. She couldn't figure out who the person was but it didn't increase her fear.

"Leave her alone! If you all want to get your degree in your hands, leave her alone. You guys have not yet understood it right? Jonathon is protecting her like a father. He respects her a lot. You guys will need his signature to get your degrees released. If you even lay a finger on her, forget the years you have invested here." Preston said with a serious note and then there was a pin drop of silence.

Shanaya could not believe her ears. Not about Jonathon but about Preston. What made him to save her? Why would he do it? It was not like he will get anything out of it. She knew Rudra had no hand in this. Then why? 

She decided not to ponder over it, what was more relieving was that there was no revenge plan as of now. And she could attend her exams in a better way.

As decided, after exams, the four girls took a detour and went to shopping. On the way, Shanaya revealed what she heard. She was surprised to know that even Anaya had heard it and she too was surprised by Preston's action. They decided not to think more about it as it was relieving that no one will do anything till they get their degree in their hands. Till then, no one will know who moved to which part of the world like how Anaya and Paige had decided to go back to their families and love of their life. The thought was a bit disturbing for Shanaya but she decided to keep it for later. This was a moment of enjoyment and fun.

They shopped and shopped till they could not carry any more bags and then decided to give farewell to themselves since they didn't get any from their juniors. So they went to Pizza Hut and placed their orders.

For the first time, Shanaya came to know that someone can dislike pizza. Paige didn't like it at all. After a couple of bites, she left it and settled for garlic bread and coke only. Shanaya didn't like it at all since they were treating and celebrating for being themselves, suggested some pasta which she denied. Paige asked them all to enjoy their meal while she was deep in thought watching each of them carefully.

After pizza hut, they placed their order for chocolate cake with icing. Shanaya asked them to go to hostel while she needed to do something else which she kept as surprise.

Shanaya reached hostel after twenty minutes and kept a packed box in front of them.

"Ouch! That's hot! What's in there? " Anaya asked.
