"Hey I was kidding."

"But I am not." Rudra said angrily.

There was a silence for a minute. No one spoke anything, neither did anyone disconnect the call.

This was always the case. Both of them would start jesting around and one of them would get serious. Sometimes it was Shanaya and at others it was Rudra.

Was not this call made to uplift Shanaya's mood?

Realizing that Rudra said,

"I was not joking about booking two tickets but before finalizing, confirm with me. And yes, don't make it too short or too long. Approximately 3 days and 4 nights would do."

"Okay" Shanaya mumbled, a smile making its way back to her lips.

"And yes, don't tell anyone. Not to your room mates, not to any friend or your sister or your parents as well. I hope I don't need to explain the reason to you since you already have got so much of experience just by being with me."

"Okay. But what should I tell them?"

"Think something and even I will think about it. Okay?"

"Hmm."

"Don't miss me much. I will be there within a week. I have already talked to my manager. Will book my tickets now."

Shanaya didn't know when her breathing stopped. Just a week?

Was this for real?

Was he really coming for her?

Well, it appeared so...

She felt so light headed, as if she would be able to sleep tight or not at all.

God!! Save her!! She would die just by anticipation.

She forgot everything that had happened to her. But the difficult thing was hiding her joy and restlessness from everyone. Would she be able to put a serious face when she actually was beaming inside?

Apparently!

She had to!!

She could not give away her happiness! Would not!!

Though she had started trusting these people but she won't take risk this time.

What is it that they say... Yes!! Once bitten, twice shy.

"Shanaya have you written the complaint letter?"

"What??" Shanaya came out of her trance.

She had not realized when she had entered her room and her room mates were already waiting for her.

"Hey! You left earlier than us. What took you so long?" Anya asked.

"We have been waiting here for you for a long time." Paige complained.

"Your phone was also switched off! We were worried.. We thought some of those guys..." Panjel trailed off her thoughts.

Shanaya felt guilty for what she did and what she was about to do. She always felt guilty for lying, especially to the people who cared for her.

"I am sorry guys. I didn't know when my mobile's battery went off. I was sitting in the park and didn't realize how time flew by. Sorry for making you guys worried."

Well that was not complete lie. And they seemed to buy it as well.

Her phone's battery died. True!

She went to the park. Partially true..

She had got her and Rudra's tickets to a hill station since it was season.
