"It's nothing, just go to school already, but before you go can you do me a favor and get change into actual feminine cloths?" They asked. "I'll do it later, I'll see you later then." I said before shutting the door. It's been eight months since we moved here from home, even the other house owners are as friendly as the last. I wonder how many new people I can see from this new school after all. "High school huh, it would of been better back home than here after all." I said to myself. The day passed until last period came along by someone going through something that had seemed important. "Luckily our daughter won't be into that game." The voices repeated. "That game from t.v, what was it called agin?" I asked myself. I searched through the bag before taking out a small camera from the bottom. "Some pictures should help remember home right?" I asked myself. I quickly scrolled through the camera roll before taking out the memory card. "I knew I forgot to replace these, I should of thought." I said before putting in another memory card. The hour swept by and I quickly got up with the memory card in hand. "Excuse me, making my way through." I said trying to make my way to the door. I quickly bumped into someone dropping the memory card in their pocket without knowing. "Sorry." I quickly said before being the first one to run out the door. I walked through the neighborhood searching for home before realizing I was lost. I quickly grabbed my camera and a memory card and scrolled through the pictures trying to find the address. "That's strange, I'm sure this is the right memory card." I said to myself. I began searching my pockets before stopping in place. "Oh no." I said to myself. I quickly ran back to school before making it into the classroom. "Where could it have gone?" I asked myself. A moment noticed the door opened with someone standing there worried. "Lost something to?" I asked. "Yeah, have you seen a black box filled with a deck, it's surly gotta be here?" They asked. "I'll help you if you help me, I'm looking for a memory card for my camera?" I asked. We got to looking before what we found what he was looking for. "Now for my memory card, I know I should retrace my steps but how?" I asked myself. We both walked towards the door like last time before bumping into each other. "This could mean." "It fell in my pocket." They said. They checked their pockets before taking out a memory card. "Thank you, and sorry to bumping into you earlier." I said. "It's fine, I'm yu-yu kondo." "Im lulu tashikarie." We both walked around in random places not knowing where to go at all. "So where are you going?" Yu-yu asked. "Wait, you're not knowing where you're going?" I asked. I quickly looked at the camera and then looked back up. "Do you know a way back?" I asked. "There's this place that is near, some friends should be there at this time, have you ever heard of wonder hill?" Yu-yu asked. We slowly made our through a dark forest clueless of what was gonna happen. "Okay, we're here so just take this road down hill, there should be a bus there." Yu-yu said before walking to the other direction. "You're going in there?" I asked. "Of course, I don't have any other plans tonight." Yu-yu said. I quickly looked at the bag and then the camera. "Think I can tag along, I'm mostly finished with my studies at this point." I said. "If you're sure then I could- this isn't because of the dark is it?" "It totally isn't, I just don't have a flash light on me that's all." I said. We both slowly made our way inside and I watched ever nook and cranny closely. "Welcome to wonder hill, it looks run down but everything is still okay, even the power supply works." Yu-yu said. "I heard it was run down before but it is impossible for someone to get the lights working." I said. I slowly followed taking pictures of everything I saw there. "What is this place?" I asked. "This is what we call the lions den, this is where we have vanguard battles." Yu-yu said. I looked down to see someone standing there. "Who's that?" I asked. "Oh, that's one of my friends, Megumi okura, she plays Vanguard like I do." Yu-yu said. "Are they nice?" "Not if you get on their bad side, they have a bit of a short temper." "I HEARD THAT!" Megumi shouted. "I get what you mean now." I silently said to myself. I quickly took a picture of the merry-go-round and then took out the memory card. "What is vanguard anyways?" I asked. "It's a sort of card game, that takes place in another world, that's how I became friends with so many strong fighters." Yu-yu said. I quickly grabbed my phone to search something up. "Is this what you're talking about?" I asked. "That's pretty fast, that's vanguard, the card game I told you about." "So this is the game my mom told me about." I said to myself. "Hay, yu-yu, who's that up there, a new friend of yours?" Megumi asked. "Yeah, she's from my school, we both got lost so we decided to come here." Yu-yu said. "It wasn't my fault, I thought you knew where you were going." I said. "Well while you're here, yu-yu, do you wanna have a little fight?" Megumi asked. "A fight, won't you get in trouble?" I asked. "We're talking about a card fight, we can't bare to fight with each other, that's why we settle things with vanguard." Megumi said. "So it's like an game that settles unsettled business, mind if I record?" I asked. I helped set up the table before hitting record on the camera. Minutes passed leading to the sixth turn. "I ride, sylvan horn beast king, magnolia." Megumi said. "It's an odd saying to use the word ride, I don't even understand why I can't play this game." I said to myself. "I then call, looting petal stomaila. I then attack with magnolia, and my twin drive, first check, no trigger, second check, it's a critical trigger." Megumi said. "His last damage, yu-yu, better find a way to to get something good." I said to myself. "Perfect guard." Yu-yu said placing down a card. "Perfect guard?" I asked. "It's a card that can block any cards attack, in other words." "I wasted my only chance." Megumi said. Yu-yu drew a card and began reading everything. "I discard one card and ride, nirvana, and then add one, vairina, to my hand. Overdress." Yu-yu said. "Where have I seen that card?" I said to myself. "Not this agin, not like the first time." Megumi said in a panic. I quickly took a sniff of the air before looking at the camera. "His expression changed, is this even possible?" I asked myself. "This is the overdress of victory. "Now with a soul blast of 2, vairina, can get rid of your front row rear-guards." Yu-yu said. I slowly watched something fell out of his pocket and then looked back at the table. "I then attack with, vairina." "Damage check, no trigger." Megumi said. "That's was amazing, luckily I caught everything on video to watch later." I said with a smile. "I guess a loss is a loss, so you are?" Megumi asked. "I transferred to yu-yu's, school just today, I'm lulu." I said. "Well then, yu-yu, she seemed to enjoy that fight, can we teach them how to play?" "I don't see why not, let's see what I have on me." Yu-yu said before checking his pocket. If I go for magnolia then I can do attack from the back thing that Megumi did, but if I choose that nirvana I can try out the vairina card also. I quickly thought as hard as I can before turning to the side. "What's this?" I asked before picking up the card that fell earlier. "Flagburg dragon, it's not the best choice." Megumi said. "That settles it, it's a stoicheia nation, so take these to build a deck of your own. It's not much but it can make a neat deck of its own." Megumi said.
