Chapter Twenty-Seven.

*Five Years Later*

"Happy birthday, Mama!" Shawn, Sammy and our twin son and daughter, Aaliyah and Jack yell waking me up. Shawn, Jack and Aaliyah snuggle into me and Sammy leans in to kiss me.

"Happy birthday, baby." I smile and kiss him back. My life went from amazing to perfect. Addison's and I's company got even bigger and we've made millions. Sammy and Skate took off and just broke it off a year ago. I moved to the suburbs in New Jersey along with Addison, Nash and their 4 kids, Maxwell, Shawn, Michael and Ava. Life is wonderful. I quickly got dressed and then we all went for breakfast and met up with Addison and Nash. After breakfast we went home and I grabbed my purse and kissed Sammy, Shawn, Aaliyah and Jack goodbye.

"Be safe, okay? I love you, Ariana." I smile and kiss Sam.

"I'll be home just before dinner, I'll be fine. I love you more, Sammy," I said kissing him goodbye.

"Never," He whispered as I walked out the door. I got into the car and started driving. It was only a 30 minutes drive to the airport and luckily, there was no traffic. I got there and went through security and was right on time for my flight. I walked onto the plane feeling a wash of sadness. I quickly pushed the feeling away as I sat in my seat. There was a small girl next to me, she was smiling and watching me. I looked down to her and smiled.

"Hi," I said gently. She smiled a toothless smile and I smiled.

"Hi! I'm Rose!" She smiled.

"Hi, Rose, I'm Ariana." She smiled at me and then leaned in to hug me and I laughed. "Sweetie, is your mother here?" I asked suddenly realizing there were no adults accompanying her.

"No, my mama is at home." I gave her a questioning look.

"Rose, are you on this plane alone?" I asked as she nodded her head. I bit my lip and brushed my fingers through her knotted brown hair, she couldn't be more than 6.

"Why are you on this plane alone?" I said calmly. Rose sighed and began to talk with a slight lisp.

"You see, my mama is sick. My mama is so sick that she can't take care of me. So, my mama told me to come on this plane and on the other side my daddy would be there. I'm a little nervous, my daddy left me and my mama alone and what if he forgets about me? I hope he doesn't," Rose whispered as her eyes filled with tears. She looked to the ground before she began to cry. "I just want to be home with mama," She whispered. I grabbed her hand and held her as she quietly cried in my arms as I soothed her. Soon enough, she was fast asleep.
