I woke up with a headache.

Thankfully, Anna prepared everything to ease the pain. While I slept, she had taken all her stuff into the flat. Unfortunately, we didn't have any time to get settled. We have to be a new job at five.

"N/A, get a move on. I don't want to be late!" I saluted her and headed to the bathroom.

Finally, we were in the car. She had to order me around, otherwise I wouldn't have done anything...except...go back to sleep. At the crossroad, we waited for the light to turn green. I could hear her fingers tap on the wheel. I turned my head to the window and met a sight of white. "Huh?" looking out, it was a car...a huge car. One window went down, revealing a...oh no...Duck! It waved at me with a smile. Quickly, I closed the window and slapped myself repeatedly. Anna freaked out, "N/A what's wrong?!!!" I looked at her terrified, "I think I am losing my mind Anna. I see ducks everywhere."

"Poor girl" she said concerned. Once the lights turned, she drove off to the nearest building. There, we go out and headed to the highest level of this place. I was too exhausted to talk, so Anna took over for us both.

Meanwhile, A duck was leaving off his steam, "How rude, she didn't wave back! Humans are so weird sometimes." Another one held his shoulder, "Relax Nosedive, I am sure she didn't mean it like that." Nosedive's brother, Wild wing, assumed that I was new in this place. If only he knew how right he was!

"Guys, guys, we have to get there before five. My lawyer hates to wait!" he was a human, with a large belly, a suit and a ponytail. He didn't look just like a business man, he also acts like one. Another Duck spoke up, one with an eye patch, "Relax Phil, we are almost there."

Inside the building was it just as tense.

Our new boss was the size of a wardrobe, looking angry at the two of us, "So you are the new secretaries?" "Yes Sir!" answered Anna. "Okay, no time to waste. You got downstairs to Mr. Loyd...and you" now pointing at me,"...go to Mr. Homes." Here I thought it gets better...wrong!!!! Mr. Homes is a horrible man. The minute I arrived he called me 'hen', flooding my arms with files and papers. As I didn't move, he shouted at me to get those legs walking. I hated my job already.

Once I was out of Mr. Homes office, another man came in.

"Phil, old man, Long time no see. What can I do for you?"

The man Phil told his duck friends to take a seat, while he discussed the issue with the lawyer.

After ten minutes I came back, I froze on the spot. Before me were six ducks, in seats, looking at me confused. But Nosedive recovered fast and stood up, "You are the one that didn't wave at me!" "Huh?" was all I could say, as my mind was thinking, that I was losing my mind. This can't be...this doesn't exist! I could hear my boss shout, as my world turned black. The last thing I could see was one of the ducks, holding me.

"Wild wing, what happened to her?" asked a female Duck called Mallory.

He shrugged, "I don't know, we should get her to the hospital."

My boss could only mumble, "This is what you get lately, how pathetic."

"I catch up to you guys okay?!" shouted Phil, returning back to the conversation with Mr. Homes.

Wild wing carried me in his arms, running down to their vehicle. Nosedive followed the group, shaking his head, "I told you. Humans are weird."
