A mighty change in life (Mighty ducks x reader)

30. A family member

While I was running for my life, my comrades have defeated the Saurians. All tied up, they demanded to know where the ducks are. They all refused to talk, but Stanley has his own ways on finding out. Klegghorn had to calm him down as he grabbed Chameleon, ready to beat the truth out of him. "Where are they?!"

Chameleon shivered while dangling in the air, "I-I-I don't know!"

"Why you little..." Stanley formed his hand into a fist, taking aim and...

"There!!! They are there!"

They all followed Chameleon's finger, showing towards a door, with several locks on each side. For Stanley was this no obstacle. Like Grin, he pushed the door off his hinges with ease. Phil peaked inside the room, seeing all the ducks tied on chains. Nosedive could hardly hold back his joy, "Phil my man! I never thought that i would be happy to see you." Wild wing had others things in mind, "Phil get us off these chains, we have to find Dragan...."

An explosion shook the entire raptor.

The impact was too great, that everyone feel to the ground. "What where you up to?" asked Tanya a little worried. The boys shrugged, they were busy with the Saurians. Dive couldn't resist, "isn't blowing up things your specialty Tanya?" For that, he got a hit from Mallory for being rude. Klegghorn assumed that it might have been me and Buzz. Wild wings eyes lit up at my name, "N/A, she is here?" The captain nodded, "Yeah, she planned this whole thing to save you, you good-for-nothing-alien ducks." Grin sighted deep, "It never hurts to say something nice once in a while." "No time for it Grin, we have to help Buzz and N/A." Wild wing told the men to find the Aero wing, while they save us.

Speaking of me, the explosion was the best thing that could have happened for me.

Dragaunus had almost caught me, as we both lost balance. I don't know how long I was running, but it seems we got higher and higher up. The last room had a latter inside. With no other way to run, I climbed up an opened the small door. I shrieked as strong wind tried to blow me away. Gripping on to the latter, I looked around. It was a beautiful view of Anaheim from the top of the raptor. It could have been better, if there wasn't these robots' destroying it at the moment. "Come on Buzz" I said to myself, hoping that the genius finds a way to stop them soon. My problem however, was far more dangerous. I squeaked, as I felt something hold my foot. Dragaunus caught up with me, throwing my entire body out the small door. The wind knocked me off balance and i feel off the raptor. Thankfully I found something to grab on to. My heard raced fast. I almost feel to my death. Dragaunus wasn't pleased with it. He used his claws to hold him up, "This is the last time you got in my way!" Unable to defend myself, he used his claws and scratched my arms. The wounds were to deepen the pain too much, I had to let go. From above, the Overlord laughed satisfied. Still falling, I thought about everything that had happened. I wished i could have said good bye to Anna and apologized to Wild wing. Not able to stop my fall, I closed my eyes and waited for the ground to end me.

"N/A!"

Something held me all of a sudden. It caught me during the fall. Opening my eyes I could see Duke and Dive. "What are you doing sweet cheeks?" "Yeah, did you ask big bro for permission?" I didn't reply, all I could was smile, while tears fell with joy. "Did you get here?" The voice was none other than Wild wing himself. Back in the raptor, he hugged me tight, "You trouble maker." I returned the favor and hugged back, "I am working on it." The hug got a lot tighter, as Dive announced a Group hug. "No please, you are squishing me!" "It is your own fault" winked Dive amused.

Another explosion, followed by several others outside the raptor, stopped our reunion.

I told Wing where Dragaunus was. "Okay, I will deal with him, you three find Buzz."

"He is in the control room."

The team captain nodded, "Good, get him and wait for my next orders."

The next steps were easy. Buzz found a way to make the robots blow up, which caused the sound from outside, and the function on the raptor. The boy installed a route of where the raptor will fly to, in his case, into the ocean. It was all set. Once we found him, he announced that it will go off in five minutes. This was our cue to evacuate the ship. Dive announced it to his brother, through his device. Well, at least he thought he did. "He doesn't have his device on." "What?" "I took it off him." Nose dive couldn't believe it, "Why would you do such a thing?" It was good that Duke got between us, "Okay, we get him with the aero wing. Come on!"

Wild wing and Dragaunus were both surprised, as the raptor took off. The overlord demanded an explanation, but the other three Saurians didn't answer. "They are currently occupied Dragaunus. "It just you and me now." "I think it is just you Ducky." Before Wild wing could capture him, he disappeared and closed the door. "Stop hiding you coward!" Wild wing had trouble to hold on tight. The wind almost kicked him off. "Oh oh, this isn't good" he said, looking around for the Aero wing.

We weren't too far off. With enough speed, we reached the raptor soon. Dive opened the front part of the Aero wing, as Grin tried to grab his captain's hand. No one expected another explosion inside the raptor. Wild wing couldn't hold him any longer and slips off the raptor. The Aero wing was not fast enough, so we used another flight device. A smaller version of the Aero wing and glider in one. Duke and Malory decided to get the team captain.

Minutes later we were all, save and sound, at Aero wing. Dive turned on the autopilot to join us. Relieved to see Wild wing, I tackled him. He lost his balance and we both lied on the ground. I kissed his cheek with joy, "I am glad you are okay." "If I had known that you can be this sweet, I might jump more often." "Don't you dare!" The group smiled, as we both hugged each other. Stanley was sure now, "Yeah right, just friends."

Phil nodded, "When will be the wedding? I could arrange it....including all the journalists."

Wild wings face turned a little red, as I shouted at the two, "I am not his girlfriend!!!!"

"That is right, she isn't..." everyone looked at the team captain confused, as he kissed my cheek in return, "...she is a family member of the mighty ducks." Dive pulled me against his chest, "So you are like my little sis right?" Duke ripped me off Dives hands and into his chest, "And I am her big bro, so back off." A fight broke out between them. While everyone laughed, I had to ask Wild wing about it. "But I betrayed you. How can you call me a family member after this?" He pointed at my necklace, "Because you changed sides and saved us. And besides..." he patted my head tenderly, "...you are my little sis; I always look out for you."
