After a late night series of The umbrella academy, Ivory slept off again only to wake up from a nightmare in the morning.

In her sleep, she confessed her feelings to Mason who said he had nothing for her in front of the whole school. It was an epic rejection and Skyler made a joke out of her. Everyone in school mocked her and how could she forget that Mason kissed Skyler at the end of it.

She put on a baby blue short sleeve crop top and black jeans for school and let her hair down, the dream made her a mess.

There was no way she was going to summon the courage to tell Mason that she liked him, absolutely no way.

"Have you made a decision?" Zosia prodded and Ivory answered with confidence "Yes I have."

"I admit I do like Mason but I won't tell him anything. Eventually the feelings will die."

"If they could they would have died years ago. We both know you've been avoiding this long enough,"

"I don't know what you're talking about." She feigned

"Save your lies for yourself, everything was alright yesterday what happened?"

"I had a nightmare." She admitted and recounted all she saw in her sleep "You're just being paranoid."

"It's better this way, Zosia don't force me to do what I don't want to please."  Zosia sighed and held the hem of her slouchy knit cardigan before answering "This is ridiculous."

"I'll take that as an okay, we'll do it your way."

Mason put on his champion logo sweatshirt before bending over to wear his new pair of Nike vapor max Flyknit.

"You guys have been staring long enough, what's going on?" He asked and stood straight to meet his teammates' intense eyes.

"What is wrong with you?" Aaron spoke up

"Excuse me?"

"You like Ivory, don't you pal?" Someone else asked to ease the brewing tension and Mason looked away

"We knew it!" Another said triumphantly

"I haven't even answered yet. We're best friends." The guys scoffed "That's bullshit Dalton and you as well as all of us here know it."

"What are you all getting at?"

"You like Ivory but you're being a baby and making best friends excuses."

"I should be used to these by now." Mason hissed

"This time we have witnesses and evidence."

"Like me being overprotective or what now?"

"That and you skip classes for her, you two share a lot of secrets that I'm so sure she's seen you naked."

"No way."

"Oh yeah? And she's the only one that can put you in the dump where you belong most of the time plus you have a soft spot for her."

Mason cleared his throat "Okay?"

"And during the bet you kissed her twice." Kurt held up two fingers "When it should have been once." he reduced his fingers to one

Mason paled and the boys knew that they had him "Cat got your tongue?"

"We're all boys. You know that we can keep a secret for you." Mason glanced at Fabian "I thought you were into her."

"Like I had a chance with you around."

"I'm with Skyler now." The guys groaned with irritation "Just admit it Dalton and for the record what you just said was lame stupid."

"This is so fucking stressful." Someone huffed and the man in question buried his face in his hands "Is this even necessary?"

"Duh. If it wasn't we wouldn't be pestering you and we're saving ourselves from that wretched Dixon and her minions who only have access to us because of you. Admit it already."

"This doesn't change a thing.".

The guys glanced at each other, they intended to make the relationship they had been waiting on for years to work.

"Yeah...we know." A lie

"Maybe... yes I do like Ivory Johnson, more than a best friend would or a brother should."

The guys heaved in relief and gave claps and several whoops "It didn't kill you to admit it." He only nodded

"I don't want to ruin our friendship so it's best we stay this way, please guys."

"Okay. It's our little secret."

Jamie said through his teeth

The soccer team has done a wonderful job
