Attention

Ivory was always tense whenever exam time was near and this time, it's only a day left to the hot seat and she was very nervous.

Zosia skipped school calling in sick and stayed back at home. Ivory wished she was in her place but because of her well known inability to skip school even in sickness everyone will make a big deal out of it.

"Hey bestie."

Mason greeted before putting his arms around her shoulders "What's going on with you?" She asked

"I'm good if you cross out the fact that I'm made to clean the pantry and library after school for coming home late last night."

"Why would you go home late? A foodie like you can't afford to miss dinner."

"True, a foodie like me in good shape, always add the good shape part. I've seen you ogling my abs and these babies you know." He pat his muscle "Just answer the question."

"Practice and ... Skyler... She wanted to talk."

"I don't mean to be nosey but about what?"

"You're my best friend, you have every right to be nosey. She thinks I don't give her much attention."

"You should."

"I don't have time for her besides she always has my attention."

"Yeah considering we spend less time together."

"You avoid me most of the time."

"Really?"

"Its not a lie though." She sighed, he was right and she had  good reasons for it.

"Don't tell me you're mad." She shook her head "Good cause you have all my attention. You can call me at any time and day and I'll be there for you."

She looked up to him, he was making it hard to stop her feelings for him from growing.

"You look pale."

"Thanks."

"I'm serious Ivory."

"Its tomorrow's exams but I'll be fine."

"We can be study buddies if it makes you feel any better."

"I wish but no. If I need help, I'll call you."

Or I won't, the feelings must stop

"You sure?" He looked doubtful

"Yeah." She nodded

"Mason!" Their heads turned to Skyler who was giving Mason lustful looks.

"That's your cue to leave." They side hugged and Ivory walked away.

Who else gets exam chills
