"The... the 60s... I wish there was something good I could say about the 60s but... they kind of sucked. Expect for the Beatles. They made it bearable.", Alaric told us.

"What else was there? The Cuban missile thing, the... we walked on the moon. There was watergate", Alaric said. "Watergate was the 70's , Ric. I mean, Mr. Saltzman", I answered forgetting.

"Right, it kind of mushes together up here, the 60's, 70's. Thank you Maya", he replied as he turned away.

"Hey, Jer. How you doing? Are you okay at the house alone with John?", i questioned. "It's not ideal."

"You haven't heard from Jenna?", I asked my brother before he left. "It looks like she's staying on campus. Look, I'm... I'm late for class.", he replied and left.

"What's going on?", i questioned as I could see some tension between them,and I know my brother. "I told him he had to dress up... and he got all uptight", she explained to me making me laugh.

"Hey, Maya there you are.", one girl told me from class. "Okay. This is gonna sound freaky... but this totally hot guy just asked me to ask you... if you're going to the dance tonight.", she added.

"You could at least meet him. He'll be at the dance tonight. Look for him. His name is Klaus.", the continued making me and Bonnie looking at each other.

"I'm sorry what did you just say?" , I asked again to make sure I wasn't just crazy. "His name's Klaus. I know the name's stupid. But I swear he's hot."she answered me.

"Where is he? Is he here?", Bonnie asked looking around. "I don't know.", she answered Bonnie completely clueless. "She's been compelled.", Bonnie whispers to me.

"But he wants to know if you'll save him the last dance. How cut is that?", she replied to me.

"We have a special shout-out tonight. This is for Maya. From Klaus", the same girl form class said in the mic. As we finally came to the party.

"That was a lame, cheap shot, he's just trying to bait us.", Damon explained after shocking me a bit out. "I know everyone here.", I said as he couldn't be here.

"Maybe he's not here. He wants us to believe that he is.", Stefan replied to me. "It's a party, people. Blend. Let him come to us.", Damon told us.

"Good idea.", Bonnie said as she dragged Jeremy with her. "No, I don't really feel like dancing.", my brother answered as me and Elena smiled at each other. "Too bad"

"There's Ric. I'll be back.",Damon said and left us three.

"I need to talk to you.", I said to Bonnie as I finally found her. "How could you not tell me?", I said to my best friend.

"Because I knew how'd you react." , Bonnie replied. "No, no way. It's not an option", I answered. "It's our only option.", Bonnie told me.

"Then we'll find another way, okay? Bonnie you're not dying to save my life.", I explained. "I have the power to save you. If I don't use it and something happens, that would kill me."

"I can't let you.", I answered shaking my head. "Just answer one question. If this situation was reversed... would you do it for me?", she questioned me.

"So you know why I have to.", she added. "No. No." I said as I felt my heart explode.

"Maya", I heard from Ric as he came running taking me and Bonnie's attention. "He has Jeremy and Elena.", Ric added.

"What?."

"Yeah. Klaus has them. Come on.", Ric answered as we ran after him. "Okay, so where are you taking us?" I questioned Alaric. "Just a little further."

"Wait. Something's not right", This wasn't good. There's no way it could be true. "Where are they?", Bonnie asked.

"I just had to get away from that dance.", Alaric laughed as he turned around to us. "The 60s. Not my decade. I mean, whose call was that, anyway? I much prefer the 20s. You know. The style, the parties, the jazz.", he went on.

"Alaric", I said not wanna believe it. "Are you on vervain?", I tried to see if there was another way, it couldn't be true.

"Now, why would you ask me that question, Maya?", he said coming closer to us. "He's been compelled", Bonnie said to me.

"Nope, try again", Alaric said. "What's going on?", Bonnie questioned stepping in front of me. "Okay I'll give you a hint. I am not Alaric."

"Klaus", I said as I knew 100%, This isn't impossible. "Surprise".

"Oh, no. No it's not possible. ", I answered scared. "Just relax, Maya. I'm not here to hurt you. You're not on my hit list tonight. But you are", Klaus replied and tried to run down Bonnie but was only pushed away by magic.

"Now, did I mention that I know a witch? You're gonna have to hit me a lot harder than that.", Klaus said and tried again to run down Bonnie but he fled through down to the other side.

"By all means. Fire away. If you kill this body. I'll just get a new one. Maybe Jeremy ", Klaus said. "Go. Run. Run", Bonnie said making us both run.

"What happened?", Damon came rushing. "Klaus is in Alaric's body.", I explained fast. "He's possessing it or something.", Bonnie said right after me.

"Go find Stefan. Now".

"Bonnie, Bonnie. Bonnie, Bonnie, hey hey.", Elena almost cried holding Bonnie's dead body. "Maya, she's not breathing.", my sister hyperventilated as I checked her heartbeats.

"Maya. Maya, I can't find her pulse", she looked desperate at me. "Do something, please."

"Stefan, please just give her blood. Do something, please", my sister looked at Stefan who was standing right beside us. "It's too late, I'm sorry".

"No, no. Bonnie, Bonnie. Please, no. No, no, no.", Elena continued to cry. "Maya get Elena out of here, I'll deal with the body."

"What do you mean deal with it?", I asked. "The sheriff can't know about this. Last thing we need is a mysterious death.", he said trying to grab Bonnie.

"This is Bonnie.", Elena answered. "Get her home now", Damon looked at me.
